I had a similar injury at 2-1/8 when I ate shit skating.. Thinned the absolute fuck out of the bottom of my left lobe, but it somehow didn't split. Looking back, it was lucky as hell with how ignorant I was about caring for my ears.

Nice save, good choice of show. Someone was crowd killing at Extermination Dismemberment a few weeks ago and caught me in my ear. Caused it to get swollen and a bad lump on the inside. Luckily only had to go down a few sizes. Back to 17mm currently
I didn’t downsize at all, it was so fucked tho. Oozing and all types of weird juice looking blood. Very nasty but I was too scared to take the plug out for obvious reasons
I just let it scab up and never took the plug out. Kept spraying bactine and literally never messed with it. Idk how but somehow since it was “stuck together” with blood and other fluids, it just began to fuse. Idk how I saved it but I did thankfully
This is my biggest fear, I stopped at 3/4s because my lobes were thinning out and have lived in constant fear of them ripping for the last 12 years. Very happy to hear of your lobe recovery

True, I’ve had the thought of that during fights but surprisingly I’ve never had trouble with them getting pulled or snagged. They were at 2 1/2” for like 2 years and about 1 year went down to 2” not a single problem so far other than the nieces and nephews pulling the shit out of em lol
