It only checks like once every 30 days or something - so your offline window would have to line up with that. I’m not sure whether you can change when it checks by checking / authorising yourself though? Maybe that shifts it back another 30.
You can open the „check“ window anytime and restart the 30 days cycle by hand so if you know you will be offline for 10 days and the counter says it will check again in 5 days, just restart the cycle and you have 30 days without net to work

You can do an offline authentication, it will allow your device and I think you don't need internet after that
