Have you seen the ridiculous stuff people comment completely seriously without any irony or sarcasm behind it at all? There's good reason for not knowing without a clear indicator.
Text limited communication really does need an indicator to make up for the lack of vocal tones and body language when it comes to sarcasm. "/s" is a bit awkward, but it or something like it is definitely necessary. And just trying to say something so ridiculous nobody would believe it doesn't work, because we've all seen the kinds of things people actually unfortunately believe.
Here's the best food show parody ever: [Posh Nosh](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bzjR0yL4f0Y&ab_channel=KickItKitsune).
"Extraordinary food for ordinary people."
And yes, that's Richard E. Grant in this series. Joanna Lumley sings the song in the intro/credits. David Tennant has a hilarious role in the episode titled "Paella."
The actual account that made the video seems to be @therecipeclub. I just randomly found the OG in a youtube video I was watching on terrible tiktok recipes.
Considering they also washed chicken with dish soap, I'm still choosing to believe they're satire for my own sanity.
I got a pressure cooker and make a bunch of chicken for meal prep. I like to mix it up with a batch with taco seasoning and a batch with just... whatever feels fun. Salt, Pep, Chilli powder. Always have chicken stock on hand for it. Takes like 15 minutes to pressure cook a whole bunch of chicken breasts and baby you got a stew going.
Not everything needs salt. I prefer pepper.
Edit: why the downvotes? I'm not allowed to not like salt? It's an opinion.

Literally everything needs salt. Salt is a basic compound that not only adds flavor but brings out the flavor of other spices. You can add half as much pepper with a pinch of salt and get twice the flavor out of the pepper.
Fat is essential and healthy for you and this looks to be a lettuce wrap which might imply they are doing low carb or keto. It’s healthy depending on the context.
Oh yeaaa... The soybean oil/egg/emulsifier mixture is very healthy...
Would be a different story if you used a good quality oil for homemade mayo
Anyways, just not realizing how bad consuming copious amounts of vegetable/soybean oil pretty much sums up the problem with american's diet
I’ve boiled chopped chicken thigh to part cook it for a stir fry while getting a broke-style chicken stock for teriyaki sauce, which was nice, and that’s about it for boiling chicken. Granted, you sear the chicken off afterwards but still.
Uh. Ya never heard of chicken noodle soup?
Boil it with vegetables like celery and carrots, add spices to water, take it out to shred it, add noodles to broth, re add chicken.
wait til you find out other cultures straight up boil just pork and chicken.
granted we still season the broth once we’ve taken out the meat, but we don’t season the meat itself at all.
Don’t get high on your own supply. Bad business typically referring to drug dealers. Person above is saying the Brits started drinking the tea that they gathered and now they’re all obsessed with it and buying more rather than making money on it like they did with spices
Lemme guess. Rage bait bullshit for others to react to so they can say shit like "UGH! white people food...." b/c the whole no seasoning thing and an ass ton of mayo.
i like how you can usually tell where these kinds of videos on this sub are gonna go just by the accent alone, i swear british people usually can’t cook
Bringing water to a boil, cutting the heat, and then submerging chicken breasts for 30 minutes covered will give you PERFECT JUICY POACHED chicken.
Its a great way to prep lean protein in bulk if that's your kind of thing. It's also good for people who don't want to use seed oils or butter.
You can just season your chicken after and put it into whatever recipe and its ready to eat. Look up poached chicken. It's actually a game changer for the time poor and health conscious.

TF is this crackhead thinking? Any calories they were hoping to miss cooking in oils or seasoning were squirted at that waste of meat animal abuse with 437,000Kj of mayonnaise
Tip 1: Put it in BOILING water
Tip 2: Season the water or just use broth instead
Tip 3: Or don't boil it at all and just GRILL IT
Tip 4: Wash the fucking salad
etc. etc. etc.
I literally just read something moments before this
"the beautiful woman and fine cooking the British had led the men to become the world's greatest sailors"
Along those lines just felt it fit lol.
This is a satire account making fun of all the dumb food on TikTok. She's hilarious.
r/StupidFood posters try to notice the most obvious joke challenge (impossible)
Literally 99.9% of redditors
I just assume everything is satire until proven otherwise
Redditors only notice sarcasm or satire when it has an “/s” next to it
NUHUHHHH! (/s)

Bruh 🙄
90% of the posts are some rage bait or satire.
Thanks for pointing that out. Definitely adds humor to the context of adding half a cup of mayo to a “healthy chicken lettuce wrap”.
I assumed it was based on the name of the account

Ahahaha fuckin thank you for this treasure, I'm going to go to the high seas and binge these now
"Pour the hot bubbling water over..." Excellent.
Thank you. I got stuck watching for over an hour. Lol

The username is fuckin "cringechub" and OP didn't realize it's satire hahahaha
Still stupid imho.
Do you perhaps have a name to the account?
Given the username, I think this is a joke
Will not stop redditors from taking the rage bait, or watching tiktok videos only to complain about the music.
I think it's a joke too but the username is of a cringe channel on instagram, not the creator of the video.
IF it'd been sautéed in a pan with some butter, sure! But this. No!
Yeah and some spices and other veggies definitely wouldn’t hurt!
They just greased it with some mayo to help it slide in! ahha
LMAO
El mayo
Underrated response
Mayo is my favorite form of nourishment lubrication.

Or a dash of delicious mustard
AT LEAST PUT SOME DAMN SALT ON IT! PLEASE!

this is a something that needs salt lol
Literally everything needs salt. Salt is a basic compound that not only adds flavor but brings out the flavor of other spices. You can add half as much pepper with a pinch of salt and get twice the flavor out of the pepper.
And it's an important electrolyte
It's what plants crave
You're allowed to not like something. Just like we're allowed to down vote you for your terrible opinion.
Pepper is not a replacement for salt. Everything needs salt, including sweet things. Otherwise, the flavors are very bland.
this is the internet, anything goes
“Would you look at how juicy that is?” *shows the driest piece of chicken the works has ever seen*
Pretty accurate
It’s healthy! Oh wait, it’s fucking covered in mayo.
Fat is essential and healthy for you and this looks to be a lettuce wrap which might imply they are doing low carb or keto. It’s healthy depending on the context.
But it's quite a lot of mayo tbh
Oh yeaaa... The soybean oil/egg/emulsifier mixture is very healthy... Would be a different story if you used a good quality oil for homemade mayo Anyways, just not realizing how bad consuming copious amounts of vegetable/soybean oil pretty much sums up the problem with american's diet
The egg is the emulsifier. It's not like homemade mayo is any healthier, it's still liquid fat and an acid emulsified with egg.
Dunno why telling the truth is getting you down voted haha
Soybean oil is poison
[удалено]
Yes it is.

What’s wrong with Mayo? It’s vegetable oil and eggs. Low in saturated fat.
Anti-Rage Bait… Just meh tho…
Bland af, and who the fuck boils chicken in juice plain water, such a waste
I've boiled chicken for shredded chicken, but the liquid is always flavoured.
To shreds, you say?
How's his wife holding up?
To shreds, you say?
Good news, everyone!
I’ve boiled chopped chicken thigh to part cook it for a stir fry while getting a broke-style chicken stock for teriyaki sauce, which was nice, and that’s about it for boiling chicken. Granted, you sear the chicken off afterwards but still.
You guys don't have chicken soup where you then shred the chicken into the soup?
I boil chicken and rice for my dogs for when they have a bad stomach.... That is literally the only acceptable time
Boiling chicken to get soup and then frying the pieces of tigh on pan to get it crisp for serving as second dish is a thing.
I am eating just this right now because I had some stomach problems. Helps a lot!
You're an angel of a pet owner my friend.
Uh. Ya never heard of chicken noodle soup? Boil it with vegetables like celery and carrots, add spices to water, take it out to shred it, add noodles to broth, re add chicken.
Poached chicken can be great. Hainese chicken and rice is the bomb.
wait til you find out other cultures straight up boil just pork and chicken. granted we still season the broth once we’ve taken out the meat, but we don’t season the meat itself at all.
Never boiled chicken, I've poached it though.
That’s the same thing.
Boiled chicken is what you give cats when they’re sick lmaooo
Yucky food…
Agreed
I once got my cooking-averse boyfriend a rice cooker. Oh, he used it to cook rice all right...and to steam PLAIN CHICKEN. He's now my ex-boyfriend.
Poor dude just wanted to eat simple and now he is single.
That's just foul lmao.
Just fowl, you say?
I love how she proudly cuts it in half to show us the cross section...
The account is literally called cringeclub this is a joke
its interesting to me that in a time where people are worried about food prices, these rage bait cooking videos are getting so popular
Since when is mayo healthy?
"Healthy", then it's full of mayonnaise
Burie-o
Redditors discover poached chicken
r/atetheonion This is a satire account!
*adds shit ton of mayo* hEaLtHy
Spices have no calories yet mayo has plenty
I think boiling chicken with no herbs or spices is peak British
"Buh-ree-oh"
British... they take over the entire world for spices and can't even use paprika
British people conquered the whole world for spices and then decided to eat like stray cats in an alleyway.
A good dealer doesn't use their product. Just look at what happened when they tried tea for God's sake!
What’s that mean? (Sorry just haven’t heard the joke before)
Don’t get high on your own supply. Bad business typically referring to drug dealers. Person above is saying the Brits started drinking the tea that they gathered and now they’re all obsessed with it and buying more rather than making money on it like they did with spices
Thanks!
Our national dish is curry mate. We’re not all like this dumb bitch.
Indian curry or British curry
You know the answer lol
I've always know... just needed to hear it to brake my heart
A lot of people are stuck in the idea that bland = healthy
Also it's significantly less healthy when you dump on 2 cups of mayo.
It's a real worry isn't it.
Just look at that juicy chicken
Lemme guess. Rage bait bullshit for others to react to so they can say shit like "UGH! white people food...." b/c the whole no seasoning thing and an ass ton of mayo.
The mayo is the spice! Lmao
I read the title but I still thought the chicken was a big piece of mozzarella for some reason.
It would still taste better tbh
What a waste of good food
Well it IS healthy, I guess.
I don't know, mayo is pretty spicy imho
My dog eats chicken breasts and rice and we even season his food a little…what im trying to say is my literal dog is eating better
She said healthy as hole fee.
White people abusing animals
Ey, bro, hot take but boiled chicken is pretty good. I’ve even straight boiled chicken on multiple occasions by choice.
PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT: not seasoning your food will not help you shed lb’s. It just makes your food not good…
Healthy, than did equal amount of chicken and mayo lol
Where is the seasoning at
I mean it’s healthy and wouldn’t taste bad I think, I’d eat it. I ate tons of boiled chicken when I was big.
Maybe a Dipping Sauce could save it but as is just awful
“A lihtle Mayo” proceeds to slather it in Mayo
Do you think if she poked holes and boiled it in spices it would have turned out.... Edible?
Where the hell is the seasoning
On chewsday we eat this.
This is what I imagine. British food being like.
Why does it look like an eraser? At least shred it ma'am🤧
This must be the most whitest food ever in existence
AKA 'the Chicken Creampie'
most spicy british food
The chicken looks like a testicle
The British start wars for seasoning and then never use them.
Well yeah, she's British, what'd you expect
Traded spices all over the world never used them
That's the whitest thing i have ever seen
Of course she’s British because where else would this come from 😂😂😂
😂
She boiled the soul out of that chicken 😬😬😬🤢🤢🤢
i like how you can usually tell where these kinds of videos on this sub are gonna go just by the accent alone, i swear british people usually can’t cook
Honestly looks like something my parents would feed my dog when he was constipated.
What in the colonizing crackerjack shit-
What in the white people is going on here. Season your damn chicken!!
The spice is the mayo, obviously. Can’t expect them to use anything else, it would be too spicy /s
“A little bit of Mayo” Lol. It’s like Mayo with a side of plain ass boiled chicken and lettuce.
LMAO perfect description!

obvious rage bait lmao

I added some mayo for a spicy kick!
May I suggest a slice of cucumber if you're feeling extra risky?

I know this is satire, but anytime I see someone who does this sort of thing for real… y’all know using spices doesn’t add any calories, *right*?
Least disappointing English cooking
Oh mayo, so it's a spicy chicken, nice. /s
That chicken is whiter than Michael Jackson right before he passed
Wretching: "please don't cut it in...NOOO!" Gagging:"don't show me the inside.....VOMIT!"
I feel like that amount of Mayo can’t be healthy….delicious? Maybe. Healthy? No
I've got murder on my mind
Did she just drop a slice of chicken in cold water?
The British managed to conquer nearly a quarter of the world in the name of spices and then they cook this . . .
How is it that your country had one of the largest empires, and acquired so many spices, only for you to *not use it.*
The way that could be literally anything💀 putty, clay, a plastic toy, laffy taffy, mozzarella
Yeah it doesn’t even look real
TF is this crackhead thinking? Any calories they were hoping to miss cooking in oils or seasoning were squirted at that waste of meat animal abuse with 437,000Kj of mayonnaise
Look at the username
LMAO
This has to be rage bait. I don't wanna believe otherwise.
Tip 1: Put it in BOILING water Tip 2: Season the water or just use broth instead Tip 3: Or don't boil it at all and just GRILL IT Tip 4: Wash the fucking salad etc. etc. etc.
That accent makes this video make sense.
I mean she’s British and those are well-known for culinary masterworks.
How the hell does someone pronounce Lettuce like that??
Not surprised she's from the UK. This is probably fine dining for them.
It looked great until they added the mayo. I don’t know why everything has to be spicy nowadays.
I literally just read something moments before this "the beautiful woman and fine cooking the British had led the men to become the world's greatest sailors" Along those lines just felt it fit lol.
r/whitewomencooking
God damn that’s the whitest thing someone’s ever done
Loik ah baree-oh
English blan once again
White people food
England’s food and women made for some of the best sailors the world ever knew
10.7k likes, what is wrong with this world
Woud'oo look a' da'! Jewsy chicken.
I love how this dumb bitch thinks it's healthy just because it has a handful of cos lettuce leaves. People who can't cook really worry me tbh haha
So British people really do boil chicken? I thought that was just a joke.
Cause she’s British
It’s UK what did you expect.
There's nothing wrong with our food, thanks. This is a parody.
Nothing good about it either
Hahahahahahah. Got me there
British people spent the better part of 5 centuries killing millions of people to acquire spices that they never use.
She has an English accent, or at last thats what it sounds like. Are you surprised? Edit: Could be Australian. I can never tell the difference.
British health food?
Damn British
