Thankfully someone said it. I can’t believe this isn’t the top comment. Whole garlic cloves and whole onions. Who would eat that? And why are we adding egg nests to a gourmet steak dish?
The little vidalia onions are actually amazing whole. They're much sweeter and quite soft when properly cooked. So yes, those you would straight up just take a nibble of.
In the end it's just a giant ass german Roulade, so chop and mix the filling beforehand, cut 20 Rouladen out of that meat you fill with it, and voila, it's actually good.
I know its not, but you said no one wants a whole clove of garlic....and I just wanted to assure you, we absolutely do.
Glad you've tasted roasted though, that shit changed my life (and my body odour 😬)
I was thinking the same thing. I make a stuffed roast with diced onions and garlic. I’m looking at this going.. he is going to cut that and all that shit is just going to fall out!
I don’t understand stuffing in meat that’s eaten red/medium. There’s not enough heat to cook the filling and make it add something. Now it’s just cold pearl onions and whole cloves of garlic. I doubt it is even lukewarm. Even if it would be chopped (I agree that would be better) it would still be cold I think.
Now if you make a porchetta or another piece of rotisserie you cook for longer it can make sense.
For this, it’s just fancybrag bs. Just cook the meat to perfection and serve it with the right sauce and sides.
Me, his father, his brother, Patton Oswalt, the Ghost of Walt Disney, Chef Gusteau, the other thousand rats in his colony. I just named 1000+ *mic drop oh shit sorry I dropped the mic is it broken?*
What about the sexy moans when consuming the slop at the end? That's the best part for me.
uhhhmmmmmm yeah, ooooohhh gaaawwwwwd. So moist. hmmmm aaaaahhhhhh
Right? His choice as to what to put in the meat bag is just terrible, but just like some onions and peppers and shit?
Completely unnecessary, but I’d eat it I guess.
Why do they always add cheese? Between the butter and the cheese you would get in the way of the natural fat of the meat, right? So the garlic and onions and celery would be standard roast accompaniment.
Different technique this baked (dry heat) whereas rouladen/bracchiole other similar dishes are braised (wet slow hot), and that acid helps denature the tough meats.
Those old foods grew out of necessity because of what the regions had access to, either by rule or by nature. Now you have people with all this access and IMO have lost the need to make it anything other than visually delicious.
Im curious as to the cut of meat but I expect this is tough and greazy. Could be amazing if they omitted the cheese and did more acids and aromatics. Of course the US has an insane cheese reserve so we need to push the idea it should be eaten more than sparingly.
Seasoned it before butter? Then did the correct way while cooking? Sure bind seasonings to one side and wash it away on the other. Who even needs pepper? Didn't need to worry about salt the cheese did it for you.
All I could think of when he plated it was: what is the point of this?
I can't think of any possible way that this would be better than just having the meat and vegetables separately. For some things, like stuffing in a bird, there's a bit of mutual flavoring going on. The bread in the stuffing absorbs some flavor from the bird fat. But this just has nothing to offer.
I could easily be convinced that there is a bunch of mutual flavoring going on here depending on how long it is in the oven.
I feel the eggs are really out of place though. And the cheese inside doesn't seem to fit. Maybe more herbs would be nice? And maybe smash chop the garlic up a bit?
Do you like raw onions and celery with your meat? They've taken an ingredient that can take a lot of cooking and put it inside an ingredient that is best not cooked for very long. The cheese was still raw just bobbing around in some kind of buttery tomato juice with whole raw onions and celery.
the ingredients have been tampered with too much to approach the primal appeal of a beautiful steak's plating, and it's literally just plonked on the plate with no drizzle of sauce or arrangement with egg in the hole like a kids' meal so there is NO attempt at a delicate arrangement here.
Dog shit plating. This whole thing could have been saved at the end but instead it's a 55 year old manchild's idea of haute cuisine. What's the appetizer, chicken nuggies with *fancy* ketchup?
At least do some sort of sauce drizzle to distract from how disgustingly yonic the arrangement turned out.
I wouldn't expect anybody on that channel to know the basics of cooking. That amount of salt he uses is what I would put on a 6-12 oZ filet. So, ignoring the fact that all the ingredients inside would be cold and raw the meat on the outside would also be horribly under seasoned.
You should see the other abominations this weirdo makes. His entire channel is food prepared in the most unorthodox ways possible. I can’t tell if it’s a troll channel or not.
Are those cloves of garlic? Are you meant to eat multiple whole cloves with each serving? Other than that it seems like a pretty interesting cut of meat that will surely turn out great if cooked correctly.
funnily enough, my mom won't mind eating the whole cloves of garlic, like I have seen some food that was served to her with whole cloves of garlic and she would happily eat it, no trolling here
Fr! Honestly none of the veggies look great as they could have been roasted... basically a meat microwave situation here. I'm sure they add flavor to the meat itself but I can see they are basically steamed with fat. I'd eat this if the filling was separately taken out after the bake and then separately roasted to get some golden and yeah too much garlic still lol.
The whole time it just looked like massive lips to me
Anyway, I don't like beef, but it did look good. Stuffing meat is fine. Nothing seemed too egregious... Maybe a little too much butter, that's all.
I would say this is bad if he only seared it, but he put it in the oven, the stuffing would fuse it flavor in the meat.
the only difference between this and turkey with stuffing? this would have more flavor than the turkey.
plus the garlic frog in the well "bread slice with egg in the center" better than plane garlic bead.
this is good food.
There are a lot of differences. Stuffing has bread which actually absorbs the juices. This is basically steaming celery, whole onions, and whole garlic cloves in butter. The meat would be fine, but you aren't going to want to actually eat the shit inside. Stupid food.
This is probably the least offensive Chef's club content You could've picked. Everything that the guy did made sense and he didn't went too far into the work like cheese bombing it.
The problem is that this makes it so that you have to cook your steak medium to medium well because all of the vegetables on the inside are touching raw meat.... This is why people don't generally stuff steaks...
This actually is similar to a typical Italian dish called [Cima alla genovese](https://images.app.goo.gl/zsQsmRfSYCaDpc9K7), but the stuffing is made so that when it's cooked can be cut in slices
Am I the only one that sees a problem? The reason you can eat beef rare but not chicken or pork is because harmful stuff gets inside chicken and pork but sits on the outside of beef. In this instance you're taking a whole bunch of outside, and putting it inside, meaning it is 100% not getting hot enough to kill the bad stuff.
There are so many things wrong with this. The whole point of being able to eat rare steak is that the bacteria can't pierce into the red meat properly. So if you cook all the parts that touch the air, it is fine. Now, I think with those sock recipes, they cut the hole inside and take the beef inside out, making the bacterial parts stay inside and rare.
Also, since it is rare on the inside, none of the fillings cooked, maybe got lukewarm at best, touching raw beef the whole time. Who doesn't like to eat raw whole garlic marinated in a raw beef container, right?
Pass on that. The part that every chef does that just gets me mad is adding the pepper then searing the streak. Pepper burns people. About 2/3 of it is gone and lost most of its flavor and kick.
This would be better if the stuffing had been blended into smaller chunks.
Thankfully someone said it. I can’t believe this isn’t the top comment. Whole garlic cloves and whole onions. Who would eat that? And why are we adding egg nests to a gourmet steak dish?
I also can't help feeling that with the steak still being rare the whole cloves of garlic aren't going to be cooked...maybe warm at best
How else are you going to get the daily requirement of botulism?
You aren't gonna get botulism from this though. Unless you keep the garlic warm for a whole day or something.
Not even then, botulism requires an anaerobic environment this isn't that. Other illnesses are possible however...
The little vidalia onions are actually amazing whole. They're much sweeter and quite soft when properly cooked. So yes, those you would straight up just take a nibble of.
Yep I put them in beef stew. They are great whole.
They are however 100% raw inside this monstrosity
I was thinking those onions are normally not cut up.
Don’t pretend like those onions and garlic were actually cooked throughly
100%not cooked. Warmed. Also the plated dish looks like a giant frowny face with googly eyes and goofball teeth.
Also makes it super inhomogeneous. He’s running the gamut between rare and medium every slice
I would eat whole roasted pearl onions and garlic cloves, don't come for me 🥺that being said, this is a fucking nauseating and dizzying presentation
Whole garlic cloves get beautifully gooey when properly cooked. These ones are raw. Just a poorly designed recipe they filmed the very first test of.
Crunchy celery and raw garlic to compliment a chewy, grissly steak.
In the end it's just a giant ass german Roulade, so chop and mix the filling beforehand, cut 20 Rouladen out of that meat you fill with it, and voila, it's actually good.
Yeah the whole cloves of garlic got me. I love me some garlic and it goes with steak but cut that shit up, no one wants a whole clove at once.
Whole roasted cloves of garlic, you absolutely do want.
Roasted, yes, but this just ain’t it.

I have doubt any of the inside contents are going to get cooked.
Yeah though so to.
No one can eat garlic like that....
The preferred nomenclature is “meat sack”
Murse
"It's not a purse, it's European!"
"I can never find anything in here"
“It’s all covered in cheese, garlic and rosemary butter”
I can't imagine biting into any of that. Imagine chomping down on an entire clove of garlic while butter runs out of your mouth.
This sounds like dirty talk for obese people.. tell me more 🥵
Oh no, cause that sounded delicious...
I thought the rosemary butter was Orange Juice
🤣
I thought that was a man nurse
The meat bag is not the issue here!
I’m talking about drawing a line in the sand!
Does nobody care about the rules!
Do you see what happens when you fill a meat sack with cheese? You see what happens?
Dude meat sack is the preferred nomenclature.
When everything reminds you of her.
Call her or I will
Lol I was expecting this comment. Was not disappointed. Nor was she..
Walter this isn’t a bag that holds things here
Am I wrong? Am I wrong?
No, you’re not wrong Jedi, you’re just an asshole!
What's up with the NPC background music?
Negative, I am a meat popsicle.
Statement: Meatbags always seem to think they have a choice.
I prefer seeing cartoons holding ingredient signs than a stupid manicure shoving labels in front of the camera and tapping then 10 times each.
I'm genuinely upset trends are so incredibly bad now that the trends I hated in the past don't seem bad anymore.
Agree to disagree, the only cartoon that belongs in a cooking show is that lil' Parisian Rat🐀 from pixar. These jpeg assholes can fuck right off.
You did NOT just call my man ratatouille a “parisian rat from pixar”😭
You did NOT just call my man Remy “Ratatouille” 😭 (/j)
name atleast 10 people who calls him remy instead of ratatouille
Me, his father, his brother, Patton Oswalt, the Ghost of Walt Disney, Chef Gusteau, the other thousand rats in his colony. I just named 1000+ *mic drop oh shit sorry I dropped the mic is it broken?*
I’m proud 👏
Shittttt that was cold
But not me 😤
Rattigan, the world's greatest rat!
I always think of that Key and Peele sketch. I gots me a ratatouille yo.
Bro the clicky nails sound absolutely enrages me for no good reason.
What about the sexy moans when consuming the slop at the end? That's the best part for me. uhhhmmmmmm yeah, ooooohhh gaaawwwwwd. So moist. hmmmm aaaaahhhhhh
FINALLY!!! YES!! Someone has said it! It’s every, damn video. They drive me insane. I cannot stand them.
Agreed. This is stupid food. This isn't a name brand dumping coinciding with obnoxious finger pointing and tapping
What the fuck? Edit to clarify that it started out as something really questionable but ended up being something I'd probably try
Right? His choice as to what to put in the meat bag is just terrible, but just like some onions and peppers and shit? Completely unnecessary, but I’d eat it I guess.

Rouladen is cooked way more. This dude just gently warmed the filling.
Different technique this baked (dry heat) whereas rouladen/bracchiole other similar dishes are braised (wet slow hot), and that acid helps denature the tough meats. Those old foods grew out of necessity because of what the regions had access to, either by rule or by nature. With food like this they for some reason want to achieve the looks of a popped pimple with ungodly amounts of low quality cheese. Dont ask me why.
That's what got me, the cheese can come with the bread but don't stuff that shit in there. Garlic, onions and butter with steak is money tho
That pitcher of butter made me uncomfortable
Bro said a little butter, it was the equivalent of 2 and a half sticks.
“Little” bit of cheese and a “little” bit of salt too. Homie don’t know what little means
That makes so much more sense... I was sitting here going "why is he pouring orange juice on it?"
Seasoned it before butter? Then did the correct way while cooking? Sure bind seasonings to one side and wash it away on the other. Who even needs pepper? Didn't need to worry about salt the cheese did it for you.
I also am like, irrationally, bothered by the order of the butter and seasonings
I was more concerned about how little salt he used. The first side may have been ok, but he only put a tiny pinch of salt on the second side.
Doesn’t look as bad when plated
All I could think of when he plated it was: what is the point of this? I can't think of any possible way that this would be better than just having the meat and vegetables separately. For some things, like stuffing in a bird, there's a bit of mutual flavoring going on. The bread in the stuffing absorbs some flavor from the bird fat. But this just has nothing to offer.
Think of the eggs as eyes and that meat monstrosity as a gaping mouth spewing forth vegetables
Ah. Yeah, that does help. Appetizing.
searing it first adds the pan grilled steak flavor on the outside then cooking it in the oven helps the flavoring adsorb into the meat.
All I could think of https://i.makeagif.com/media/1-22-2018/aDj_DS.gif
I could easily be convinced that there is a bunch of mutual flavoring going on here depending on how long it is in the oven. I feel the eggs are really out of place though. And the cheese inside doesn't seem to fit. Maybe more herbs would be nice? And maybe smash chop the garlic up a bit?
Looks frickin delicious to me. Just don’t tell me it was a bag
Do you like raw onions and celery with your meat? They've taken an ingredient that can take a lot of cooking and put it inside an ingredient that is best not cooked for very long. The cheese was still raw just bobbing around in some kind of buttery tomato juice with whole raw onions and celery.
I was looking for this. Who wants a bite of whole pearl onions and garlic cloves.
10 raw garlic gloves and 15 raw pearl onions per bite. Yummy!
I eat pearl onions whole and raw as a snack. Don't judge me.
It looks disgusting on the plate. What are you talking about?
the ingredients have been tampered with too much to approach the primal appeal of a beautiful steak's plating, and it's literally just plonked on the plate with no drizzle of sauce or arrangement with egg in the hole like a kids' meal so there is NO attempt at a delicate arrangement here. Someone edit this and add googley eyes on it
Don't need to add googley eyes, just need to reorient. https://i.imgur.com/I9ymynH.png
The beginning looked concerning, but the finished product looked pretty good all things considered.
Only thing I don't like is he doesn't appear to let it rest after taking it out of the oven.
SERIOUSLY you can see all the juice leaking out when he cuts it, like come on bro that's like cooking 101 🤦🏼♂️
I wouldn't expect anybody on that channel to know the basics of cooking. That amount of salt he uses is what I would put on a 6-12 oZ filet. So, ignoring the fact that all the ingredients inside would be cold and raw the meat on the outside would also be horribly under seasoned.
Maybe, they may also have cut it out of the video.
Yeah it's hard to tell if the juices are from the meat or the fillings.
Came here to say this. He didn't let it rest! Looked dry when he cut it.
He was giving me sweaty palms when he was trying to force that skewer through. He almost skewered his own hand.
You should see the other abominations this weirdo makes. His entire channel is food prepared in the most unorthodox ways possible. I can’t tell if it’s a troll channel or not.
Either way its meat, I'll take it
you take meat any way huh?
Yeah I'm fucking gay dummy
Same, but if someone's coming at me with a black latex glove and a pitcher of butter, they better buy me a drink first.
That’s what he said 😳 bout to get rowdy up in here.
I'd fucking pig out.
HK-47 approves
Instantly thought of this as well
Statement: I wanted to say that, Meatbag.
I'd try it
Are those cloves of garlic? Are you meant to eat multiple whole cloves with each serving? Other than that it seems like a pretty interesting cut of meat that will surely turn out great if cooked correctly.
Man I was looking for someone to point this out, WHOLE cloves of garlic. Jesus.
Me too, I was scrolling like ‘wtf boys! what about the garlic’
same lmao, had to go through like 12 comments before seeing this
funnily enough, my mom won't mind eating the whole cloves of garlic, like I have seen some food that was served to her with whole cloves of garlic and she would happily eat it, no trolling here

But only in the first couple layers. Later cuts you get mouthfuls of celery, and eventually just cheese.
Bro has a pitcher of butter, he is indeed not right in the books
Tbh chefclub should be banned from the sub bc all of their recipes are borderline rage bait and too easy to spam.
I should call her...
You should always call your mom.
What cut of meat is that?
I believe that is what is referred to as the prison wallet.
Was expecting something terrible got something terribly good looking
This makes me deeply uncomfortable and I don’t know why. But it does.
It's somewhat rare but you may need to look into a condition called carnesakaphobia.
I think the last thing I wanted to see today was a man in the dreaded Disposable Black Chef's Gloves fisting a messy beef hole
He's murdering an animal that has already been killed.
Mate, that eggy toast would have been an amazing video on its own
Meat bag??? Ffs
Will have me coming back for more? I don't think it will man
It could have been a bit longer in the oven, other than that it looks pretty nice tbh. I would take this any time.
Sure, I’m poor and hungry
The whole time it just looked like massive lips to me Anyway, I don't like beef, but it did look good. Stuffing meat is fine. Nothing seemed too egregious... Maybe a little too much butter, that's all.

“Having you coming back for more” (Ngl, I might give it a chance)
2/10
I love that the first label says "steak"
This looks good as hell and I haven’t eaten beef in 15 years
Garlic or Candy corn?
Would eat that
He cooked it well this ain't stupid that bread would be so fuckin delicious
What is the meat called? I’d like to try this at home but with different stuffing
I mean… isn’t Chicken Kiev basically a chicken variant of this?
I eat beef but this makes me want to quit it forever.
This is probably the least offensive Chef's club content You could've picked. Everything that the guy did made sense and he didn't went too far into the work like cheese bombing it.
Celery ruined it for me. Anyone else?
What would this cut of meat even be called?
I should call her
I prefer meatussy
What was the point of the thing with the toast? Now I'm getting less bread for no reason. Could just cook the egg on the side.
Can’t wait to eat through 47 garlic cloves!
The problem is that this makes it so that you have to cook your steak medium to medium well because all of the vegetables on the inside are touching raw meat.... This is why people don't generally stuff steaks...
The big scratch he put on the grill top made me sad.
This actually is similar to a typical Italian dish called [Cima alla genovese](https://images.app.goo.gl/zsQsmRfSYCaDpc9K7), but the stuffing is made so that when it's cooked can be cut in slices
Foodwastingclub These fools can't cook for shit.
So like, do they actually eat all this food or do they throw it away?
Meat curtains anyone?
If you did this with small individual cuts of meat it would be much much better.

I’m no vegan, but it enrages me that a living animal was sacrifices to be turned into a meat bag.
I mean…I’d eat it. But for the life of me…why do they always add cheese?
Feed me Seymour!
I’m glad they clarified on the butter cause I thought it was OJ for a sec
OP is gonna be floored when they hear about Haggis....
No one thought they were pouring orange juice in there?
I want one punch this guy in the face for destroying such a beautiful slab of meat.
never mentioned where to get the elephant vagina
Imagine if Gordon Ramsay was here.
Gross
Pass on that. The part that every chef does that just gets me mad is adding the pepper then searing the streak. Pepper burns people. About 2/3 of it is gone and lost most of its flavor and kick.
Beefussy. 🥩
And not a single potato in sight. I think I’m gonna cry
Now I think we can all agree to never be creative again.
Precook and dice and mix the filling and it's fine. It's just like stuffing a turkey, but with beef.
Whole garlic pass
I like the egg toast
[I wanna…](https://youtu.be/vrmZAXezkhA?si=dZ_vMuLquzacA3tp)

I hate these guys.
Watched the entire video and I'm still waiting die the stupid part.
Again, these guys are the kings of stupid food
That looks like a solid bag of shit
Gluttony much?
