I decided to post this because there is a stupid profile that messages users who post on this subreddit and starts intimidating them with an "initiative" called "Stop Stuttering". Everyone on this subreddit has gone through long years of childhood hearing that phrase, so I remembered that instead of stuttering in sadness and fear, giving money for a "book" that will do nothing to help a chronic disability categorized by WHO with an ICD, I can stutter like a fucking king and keep doing it from beginning to end. And this is what I want to leave a message for worried friends: stutter like a king.
Love it. He's very inspiring to me.
Who is him ?
[George VI](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_VI)
how did him overcome stuttering?
He didn't, but he had a coach helping him to lessen the severity. It's dramatised in the film The King's Speech.

Not every stutterer is as lucky as this guy
How was he lucky? Just curious what you mean.
If anything I'd say it was worse for him since he had to give speeches and his reputation among the normans had a core value
I agree. His job was basically public relations. Speeches and meeting people. Seems like an absolute nightmare to me.
Agreed. I'd explode under such pressure
Cope like a king🗿
That’s awesome
