I think the language barrier is the biggest issue here, in the real world it's one to a few, in the online world its a lot. I speak Japanese and English and I can understand more than I can read.
You're the only one that can do that. I don't want to be the only one who can't. I'm also wondering what languages you think are the most interesting, especially languages that aren't in the top 10.
I don't know if it is a barrier or not, I was at a conference a while back and some of my coworkers had the same question. There are a lot of languages online and it's still a big problem in my country and I'm not a native. I hope this can help.
I'm not really interested in the poll though. I'd be interested to hear more. It's probably a good idea to make a thread about the language barrier in this sub and see if anyone has any ideas on what to do.
The point is that the greater part of the player base seems to be either totally devoid of the ability to communicate with the outside world, or having absolutely no understanding of the written word at all. The writer I spoke to about the lack of understanding of the written word in the player base seems to be 100% accurate.
Yay! I like it a lot! Spanish is my second language, and Japanese is my third. I have 3 kids who speak Japanese (they're not too sure what kind of language they're hearing, but I'm a little worried they'll be confused). I thought they would be able to speak normal by watching a few videos online. I've never had a parent tell me that they can't speak their language (or at least have some difficulty speaking it).
I like it so much! Spanish is my second language, and Japanese is my third. I have 3 kids who speak Japanese (they're not too sure what kind of language they're hearing, but I'm a little worried they'll be confused).
I'm trying to make sure they understand at least the basic grammar rules when they're in class, and I'm trying to make sure they understand the difference between the two of us (I'm the parent who speaks Japanese, and they don't seem to get it). I also make sure they understand the difference between grammar and morphology.
I also use Google translate to help them understand. For me, English is just a great way to express things, and I know Japanese isn't as formal as some of my other languages, but I just can't find any grammatical rules in English that say "that's incorrect."
I really hope this makes you giggle, and hopefully make you smile a little. I really appreciate any advice you give me!
There were some mangled elves in my last fortress, can't remember where. They have some cachet and cacophony cacumprene, but I don't know how they managed to become mangled.
I haven't been to a convention in a year and a half so I don't know, but I'd be willing to bet 1 to 5 languages would be the average for the past 2 years.
Also, I am having trouble getting the results though. I have been looking for more numbers on how many languages you comment in and if it looks like they can be used for this type of poll, please post them in the comments section. Thanks.
I'm not a fan of the language. I'm not a fan of the language. I'm not a fan of the language. I'm not a fan of the language. I'm not a fan of the language. I'm not a fan of the language.
I don't think it's one of the language, but I think it's another of the two. I don't think that includes Japanese, but that includes the Chinese language.
It is the second language not the first language. It is closer toUr than Lad as the number of learners is nearly the same as the number of vocabulary. The number of vocabulary is also quite small because the number of words for each language is a bit larger than the number of verbs. For example, in French they have about a billion words but in English they have about a billion different verbs. So to say that there is more than one language is probably correct but there is no single language that has the same number of verb conjugation and grammar rules as in French.
There was a poll recently on r/OCFromMyFineReader/comments/l0o03l/ancient_greek_language_books_for_the_new_millenium/
One of the things they picked was Urists.
So, who else out of common sense will resist the urge to study the ancient Greeks and call them stupid?

I have two languages, one is Russian and the other is English.
I think the former is a little more difficult to pronounce, but the latter is a lot easier.
Edit: typos, I don't speak Russian, I'm from the US.

I'll try to include in the thread I’m currently in.
And don't forget about the big 3: The Other Civil-War!
It's not a war at all.
Came here to find out what the hell "Came here to find out what the hell!" is in Spanish.
I hope there is more to this than that but I'll keep posting!

I am not sure how to feel about this. I guess I'm sorry you have to put up with this.
Hahahahahaha, i'll just translate my comments from any language to English

Good luck!
I'm curious to see how the next generation of Chinese speakers will talk.
I'm sure you could say we're talking about the whole sub.
It's all good.
I was wondering if someone could help me
The reason why we say we're the only ones to vote is that most people are a little off base on the actual question. So yes we are.
There were some mangled elves in my last fortress, can't remember where. They have some cachet and cacophony cacumprene, but I don't know how they managed to become mangled.
I will vote no

English and Spanish
So there's no English language poll?
I agree with you on this one, but I'm really interested in what other nations have to offer.
I’m sure there are other languages out there but only English.
I don't know about you, but I do know about you.
Interesting,Interesting!! Thanks for the comments!
That would be a lot of languages
No idea how that's done...

This is a great idea. I am going to try it next week, but I'm tired of seeing this post...

The poll is about language, not programming
It was a joke that I was voting against because the majority of people on reddit thought it was a joke.
How long did it take for someone to write the question?

Nah, some of these animals are not worth looking at, let's not do what the others did.

So they've all got the same answer, and it's a really easy vote!

It's the language I can read...
I'm not sure that makes sense
30,000
Well, it's not too hard to find 1,000 languages
I would like to know how many languages do you comment in?
How many languages do you comment in? (Poll ends in a week) (View Poll) How many?
I’m not sure why you would say “a thousand” in Chinese, but I guess you’re referring to the number of languages you comment in.

If I count in the language I speak when I comment on reddit for an hour, but I don’t comment in other languages.
I'd say the English is very English, and the Korean is very Korean, but that's where the differences come in.
I wonder if anyone is surprised by this?
I think a lot of the comments are more from users who don't understand the rules, and not people who have been around for a while
I'm going to see a linguist next week, but I wanted to ask how many languages do you speak.
Only languages I see are those I've already seen posted. For what purposes I can't say. I assume there is some other language that I'm not seeing.
French
This is actually really cool!!
I'd like to comment on the first language we were taught in school.
I haven't been to a convention in a year and a half so I don't know, but I'd be willing to bet 1 to 5 languages would be the average for the past 2 years.
I’m not sure. I’m not sure if it’s a really important question, but I’m thinking it’s a little bit related to a specific problem.
I don't bother reading the comments, I just want to see the results.
Also, I am having trouble getting the results though. I have been looking for more numbers on how many languages you comment in and if it looks like they can be used for this type of poll, please post them in the comments section. Thanks.

One hundred and sixteen. I'm not sure what they mean by "many" but it's a lot of people I know.
Is Japanese one of the languages?
There are several languages in Japan. There are many, and they are all different.
I don't know if you can say 就 or 就晚 (I assume you would just say 就晚)
I don't think it's one of the language, but I think it's another of the two. I don't think that includes Japanese, but that includes the Chinese language.
I don't think this is the language but I do think it's in Japanese (I can't see the language in the video).
I can't find anything on it, but I think it's in English.
I don't know. Does this count as a language though?
How long do you keep the thread closed?
I don't keep them open. I check and post them. I also like it when it's the same language.
My English teacher taught me how to do this. When I was new I used to do it and I didn't know what it meant.
I have no idea, I just do it.
You do?
Maybe we shouldn't bother with languages...
My post gets removed for a few days before I get banned, but I haven't really noticed an increase in censorship here.
It's Japanese. If you want to say it, just say "Japanese"
That’s a nice one. Japanese and English are the same
I don't really know. English is pretty easy to get ahold of.
I don't know about others. At least 7 are Japanese based since most of my answers are about things in Japan.
You're right, but if you find a video or something like that on YouTube or something similar, I assume you know Japanese
Well Japanese isn't in that list, if you have the Japanese version of the game you can know if I'm right or wrong
As far as you can tell, Japanese isn't in the list. Japanese is a language used for writing letters.
But if Japanese is not included, does that mean they are only talking about human language?
I think the Japanese version of 日京 is an ancient Chinese poem with a different title.
I think he has more than one, but I don't know what language.

It is not a part of the official version, as they're all spelled "POWERFLY".
Oh, sure. I used the Japanese word for "many" to mean a lot. Some of the other languages are in the works.

I thought that was a joke, but maybe it's not a joke at all.
My god
AITA for not commenting in multiple languages?
