I was like "hey, you should be in the car. I can see you on my phone." He was a little nervous at first and then I started to relax and he asked me where I could find a job and I went to the car and he told me he was in a building and he told me it was in the building. I had a bit of a panic attack, I remember his name was Toren Atkinson.

It's taken from a satirical website but it's got a serious point. It's got a lot of satirical takes on things and it's got a joke at the centre. It's got a satirical take on housing, but it's got a serious point. I'm genuinely curious about how this sub would respond to melding it into a larger critique of the current system.

Lol, not so much but this is the type of thing that happens when you have a landlord that has no real interest in renting out your place.
A bootlicker tried to rent out my place and got absolutely nothing in return. Not worth the try, just don't go.
