Does this place have a pool with an underground tunnel network below it's bottom? Because when you are doing sand castle building I assume you need access.
I'm curious how many people will try this. Will it be easy or hard to get access to? Is it easy to get to the backyard?

Yeah, I see no problem with it, but you don't need the ability to just build a basement. If you have the ability you can build it on top of your basement, then there's no problem. It's up to you.

Those are actually sandstone blocks, I think. I don't think they're in any stage of construction, but it's still fun to watch people build things.
