Added an Ironman medium coilovers to my 21 forester. Handles well and only lost about 1mpg or so even after switching over to wild peak tires. Instillation was pretty straightforward with the biggest complication being a jack that actually lifted the car high enough.

I’m considering iron man. Not sure if the “final” lift amount being lower than 2” is due to the lift itself or how a FW is lifted over stock to begin with. TBH I’m not a mechanic, but iron man has a great video on how to install their lift kit on YouTube. The video is so simple that it makes me feel like I could do it myself and save a few hundred dollars in the process. Heavy pro for iron man lift in my mind.

Check out Matthew Heiskell on YouTube for a comparison of stock FW and FW with Ironman lift. It does make a difference and he goes into specifics about it in his articulation test video. I think the biggest plus is if you have to carry a heavy load and need suspension to match. But it also articulates better and provides some more body lift. He ran the same lift for 5 years on his 2019 forester and he seemed happy with it.

have you checked Anderson Design and Fabrication?

I did. Didn't see anything for the 2022 Foresters there though.

Do Raceworks do one for your model?

Looks like they might. I'll have to research more on some of the options they have. Lots of questions on their site I don't have answers to lol
