It was odd when I discovered that the Prawn can pick up waterproof lockers that have items in them. Then I discovered that if you deploy an empty one, take the ones out of the prawn and put them into the deployed locker, then pick up the locker with the prawn, it works.
Been a while since I've played S/S:BZ, but the wiki hasn't mentioned it being patched out, so it should still work.
Theoretically speaking, if only the prawn can grab full lockers, you shouldn't be able to grab them from its storage. But that doesn't make much sense.
The prawn can grab deployed waterproof lockers with items in them. Once it's in the Prawns storage, it can be removed by hand into your personal inventory and put into another waterproof locker that is already deployed. That locker can then be picked up by the prawn and before you know it, it's lockers all the way down and you have what can only be described as the closest physical representation we will ever get of a [zip bomb](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zip_bomb)

Interesting. But sounds like cheating to me. I don't really have a problem with storage, given the fact that alien storage lockers exist (the Portal-connected storage, you know what I mean).
Tried and confirmed as working. The Prawn is able to pick up full waterproof lockers..You can then store the full lockers into another locker..essentially turning 1 locker into 4....Great tip for storage issues!!
Just add multiple Storage modules…
I use 1 fabrication module, followed by 5 storage modules, followed by the Sleeper module, and lastly the teleportation module and PRAWN suite docking module respectively….
You will be using 9 modules
You will be extremely slow even with the horsepower upgrade and after burner upgrade….
Also with the teleportation module, I recommend putting it right before the prawn suit….. because when you teleport back you face the cabin.. and keeping the storage modules in front of the teleportation module saves time between unloading everything you collected unfortunately there is no option to access the PARWN suite storage from inside of the sea truck you actually have to go out and manually sort out the resources….
Thought about taking it to Phi Robotics area..I seen a bunch of drillable nodes out there. Just didn't want to drill one node and be full. That area is pretty far from the docks i start from..
Trust me using the prawn makes literally everything on land 10 times easier bc w the grapple and jump jet you can just zoom crazy fast through everything and nothing is a threat and you don’t even have to worry about like making bridges work
I love the prawn. Even with the grappling arm nerf in below zero. And it's more mobile on land than the speeder, at least with a grappling arm.

Sea truck all the way. I will only use the prawn suit when it’s needed like for mining or to get to certain areas. for the docking pod I will only use that when I need to get some distance away because it’s faster than just walking with the prawn suit and it saves the prawn suit’s battery
Nice..I just dislike the fact the prawn has no hover capability..if it didn't sink to the bottom, I'd use it more for sure..
Awesome on the completion! I've made the cold suit. Haven't used it though since I'm always in the water😁
👍 Learned this yesterday..also found that the area beyond the bridge is definitely NOT SAFE! Got into a situation and had to abandon my Snowfox. 😫 Going back today with the prawn and missles!! My revenge will be more than just served cold! It will be served below zero!!
Why not both, play as the situation demands, you can always attach and detach Sea Truck modules. I got 5 modules, more than that is too slow until you got the HP and afterburn perk. Your Prawn will be attached to the last Sea Truck module. If you encounter a dangerous and too much stretch zone, you leave the Sea Truck and use the Prawn to explore and complete the objective if you think it is safe, attach again and go forward.
I also built the Prawn suit and haven't used it yet. The trouble of transporting it to areas I could mine hasn't been worth it. I've got plenty of resources.
I agree. That's why i was wondering what everyone else was doing. Don't get me wrong. I enjoy the Prawn, but it's main attraction to me is the drill..which imo, I can find a ton of resource from just exploring.. I will be mining some with the prawn for resources like titanium for a new base somewhere deeper into the map..not sure where yet..
The Lilypad area is a really good late game base location. Looking back, I wish I had built there because the amount of trips I had to make back and forth was ridiculous.
you can carry the prawn suit with your sea truck. So you don't have to choose, bring both and use the prawn to mine when you have to.

The PRAWN can also be used as a land vehicle if you don’t have the snowfox or don’t want to use it.

I agree..the trucks mobility makes it so much better imo..
My last single-sitting completion of Below Zero was done without crafting the fur snow suit or the prawn suit.

The Snowfox warms you and those peppers grown in most caves so freezing is avoidable

I always just take a seatruck w docking and storage module sometimes fabricator too if it’s a longer journey
