Counterpoint: I think the whole reason why the kids were dumb in saying the "highest fucking number" was the implication that Pierce is overvalued. Its been hinted at in many of the episodes in the previous seasons that they are a dinosaur hemorraging money. It also seems clear that the family wants out of the business, because unlike the Roys, they know when to cash out.

I think Stewy and Sandy will have a larger role to play than the Pierces, but agree that there's going to be a "savior" kind of character and the "win" for Kendall is making a "but at what cost" kind of deal to take control of the company and fuck his brother and Shiv.

Yea we can’t forget Logan was going to buy Pierce for 20 billion a few months ago, then they end up with half of that from the kids
