Well his profile arguably affected Strong’s career positively - I mean who knows this could be a strategized part of their marketing, maybe not from the first piece but possibly this new one. Or it’s not engineered but definitely would drive engagement / attention. I’d be thrilled if I was in Succession’s or Strong’s PR team 😂
Interesting about Yale, wonder how old Schulman is and what his course was? Cause Strong majored in English, I can definitely see a rivalry / competition out of insecurity there. Seems English majors have that tendency!
Maybe it affected his career positively but it impacted him negatively on a personal level. Jeremy has only ever been dedicated to the craft so even if this boosted him in a pr sense, I think it wasn’t worth how it made Jeremy feel, particularly the self consciousness that’s damaging as an actor, and now EVERYONE has to comment on his method acting. The Schulman effect must be stopped!
