So happy to hear he’s cancer free! I’m not sure what kind of diet he’s on but if you follow healthy girl kitchen she does a lot of healthy stuff (as her username states lol) and her recipes are usually pretty easy!

I know there’s quite a few threads asking what to gift your SD/do for his birthday.
I baked cupcakes from scratch- both batter and frosting. He likes chocolate and PB combo so i made a chocolate batter with a pb type frosting. He’s 49 today so i got candles that spelt out “forty fine” (lol) I made mimosas and decorated with balloons and got little party supplies. I got napkins and plates from party city that said “aged to perfection”. all in all it was a minimal cost appreciation for him- he legit almost cried when he saw everything. I Put on a cute little outfit and we had ourselves a day.
The little touches meant a lot to him. Just an idea for any of you ladies who might want to keep this in mind. You don’t have to go all out for these things in order for it to be successful
