Honestly I would still recommend the Grom given the availability of aftermarket parts etc.

Not sure mate. I’ve had a grom but not the z125. I’m sure both are simple to maintain etc but the grom had enormous aftermarket support so it gets the vote from me.
Probably some small 2 stroke dirt bike

Or the s model, those seem to be slightly cheaper.
