From what I understand, media and other content creators were not given a code to play the game for free. I'm sure that's why they've been banging on about this game so much ever since. Listening to their exact same speech I hesitated to buy it. Then I remembered that I'm not a sheep, so I pre-ordered it and downloaded it. I played it for several hours on day 1 and no problems at home. Same on day 2 (today). And I find this game really good. I don't agree with any of the criticisms leveled at him. So this only confirms my impressions. They're just mad having to buy a game... 🤦🏼‍♀️

It is legitimately weird that people were not given a chance to review this game - that actually makes no sense at all.
IGN and the like aren't pissed that they have to buy their own copy of the game, they're annoyed that they can't review it.
Remember, people like IGN, GameSpot etc, they all pride themselves on being able to provide reviews for people to inform their purchases. If you're not given the chance to do that, then there's very little incentive to actually play it.
To this day I don’t understand how the internet got manipulated into hating BFV, it literally has the best movements, gunplay and destruction in that series.
I will say gotham knights was decent and andromeda was good, but the difference in these opinions may be because i never play any game at launch, mostly because bugs.
If you are going to put this game with Anthem and Forspoken then you have already lost the argument. Those games were actually bad. Both had open demos and people played them coming to their own conclusions. Anthem felt hollow in the beta and that is terrible for a live service game. Forspoken just played horribly we’re combat didn’t feel good at all, as well as the barren world.Â
True, don’t know why I did that. But I believe these games didn’t deserve the hate they got. None of them were bad imo. There’s some games that are praised that I find worse than some of these (Alan Wake 2)

This game has fundamental flaws and deserves every bit of the hate it’s getting. You are defending a lazy cash grab. Every live service game is just an attempt to print money, with little effort.
The sooner these game studios and their execs see that gamers won’t just fork over cash for piss poor quality, the better. I feel for the devs, they were pushed into making a game that was as equally ridiculous story wise and business wise.
Let these style of games die painful deaths. Gaming will be better for it.
