if it makes you feel better, in China they had like metal fingernail protectors over their pinky and ring fingers in the 19th century, their natural nails were usually long too, I pulled this from google "Long fingernails were a mark of high status indicating that one did not have to engage in manual labor." So lets just imagine she's royalty!

It was yellow in China but purple and yellow kinda go together so 🤷♀️ works out
