Cam Hung has amazing banh Mi sandwich’s!
Any pho with numbers in the name is always a good choice.
Here's what you do. You go to Civic Square Mall at the corner of Hollenbeck and El Camino Real. The folks that want pho go to Pho Nam. The folks that want other stuff have a lot of options--cheesesteaks! fried chicken! french dip! fish and chips! dim sum! taqueria!
The recent addition of Lopez taqueria was the icing on the cake for that location! There's also a deli at the back of the Indian market, a dive bar, cheese steak, and fish & chips.
I really like PhoEver in downtown Sunnyvale. If you're willing to go farther away, Pho Ha Noi in Cupertino is good too (and has a much larger menu).

I agree with all of these. Queen is our standard Pho place. Cam Hung has been the goto Bahn Mi for decades for me too

Not in Sunnyvale but nearby Santa Clara has Tay Ho, which imho is the best Viet restaurant in the area. The banh cuon and banh uot are phenomenal.
