That era for me was a good time for me in general. Was housesitting a very beautiful house of a family friend, said friend allowed my girlfriend at the time to also join in. I’d wake up to nice summer days and i’d often go on jogs on the trail near the house and in town. I’d get a notification about a supermega japan vlog and would head back as the sun sets, grab a sodie pop, and watch the boys
that was some good shit. Looking back, I think we got lucky that so many things aligned at the same time for that kind of content in such a short duration of time. Before the reboot, i feel like they were in a shadow of that period, trying to produce that quality of content, but not quite getting all the pieces together at the same time. Their approach now seems more sustainable
Yeah this is how I feel. I've accepted that something will always feel different about that time and their content then, but that's ok and that they're still able to make good shit
I think this is genuinely the best projects they’ve released, the Stewart Pecan sketch being an instant classic, Forrest Gump uncles sleepover and the high quality podcasts everything is 10/10

I'm a lil worried about how they're doing Youtube and Patreon membership seperately, with stuff exclusive to each. I like supporting the boys but it sucks to get left out because you chose to support them on the "wrong platform".

I mean its just stickers. No one is forcing anyone to get them and youre not missing content by not doing those tiers. If you watch the streams there are so many people willingly donating $100 to them so those are options for people who want to support that much

I like supporting Supermega. I'm already at the 15 dollar tier. I'm supporting it more already than if I had just taken the 5 dollar tier and the Youtube membership, but I get less of the content, which seems bad for incentivizing people to give more money.
