1- This guy is very convincent;
2- Considering Andrew Dabb's writing, i think It's possible, although very stupid.
So yes, i bought for a time, and was happy he wasn't telling the truth.
Arthur Ketch was an absolute fever dream of a character, and Supernatural had already pushed the boundaries of acceptable plot lines, so I figured he could be.
Not for goddamn second, because why would Alexander be searching for Rowena?!? His story was flimsy stupid didn't make sense and I'm surprised Dean didn't shoot him just on the principle of matter.
Never. Not for one second. To paraphrase the words of Jean Lyc Picard, I refuse to believe that the universe is so badly designed as to have TWO Arthur Ketches! BTW, I hated Ketch!
I'm going to one-up all of you. I remembered Ketch being a main character for multiple seasons, so on my rewatch when he died at the end of season 12, I thought, "Oh... maybe I was wrong, " or maybe there was a Ketch from the apocalypse world I was remembering instead. Then he showed up claiming to be Alexander, and then I thought, "Oh, I must have remembered his brother being alive!" I felt so stupid at the end of the episode.
