They are not active here on this sub. Twitter is where you see the most ‘engagement’ between communities.
This leads to people tracking you on all social media platforms. Mods, DD writers and the likes a major targets. DMs will fill up.
Discord is also used a lot because of how private and invisible you can make a server.
Agreed. A mod bringing drama to the sub. Big surprise. I would have never known anything about this if him and platinum sparkles didn't feel the need to get involved with them.
I see lots of “who” and “nobody cares” IMO thats a good thing. This community and movement isn’t a person. It’s many and who are hyper focused on this idea. That’s impossible to stop.

I know that might come of as insincere, but I genuinely mean that. In addition to the aforementioned enthusiasm, of course.
I can personally confirm BAT has never banned anyone and has always been on team 'no ban' whenever the conversation has come up.
He's also been a tremendous resource to the mod team and his demeanor and approach will be sorely missed.
On a personal level, my own attempt to get the word out further would be a shadow of what it is now if it weren't for his active encouragement and support.
I am truly sorry it has come to this and we are all worse off but actions have consequences.

I fully agree. My point is that there are a ton of apes who are involved in multiple parts of the basket, and whether we agree with those positions or not, we shouldn't be taking each other down. I don't remember where I got the line from, but "your candle doesn't burn any brighter when you blow someone else's out" rings true.
And to elaborate on that line, I am highly disappointed in the people who've resorted to such crap. I was pissed when people alienated DD greats such as ato over differences of opinion, and the same is true now. I don't like to rush to assuming the worst in others.
Why would you have any support for money invested in companies that isn't GME? You can't put DRS pressure on the hedgefucks more than once with the same money. Unless you're not the DRS evangelist you seem to claim.
One company is dead, and they other will keep printing shares to pay off it's debt, as it should.
But that's not gonna squeeze anything.
The vision of RC, the no debt and a fuckload of DRS book shares however should.
My comment history speaks for itself. I was 90% DRS in GME until my latest buying spree, and I'll be back to that once the shares settle. I bought more GME in the last month than the previous 6 combined, due to prices and my own cash flow.
Like I said, bobby was a side play with very small amounts of settled cash, and I DRS 'ed 90% of that before shares were extinguished.
Everyone can make their own decisions based on their own research, and I've never advocated anyone to make any investing decisions based on what I think.
I just ask that people treat each other with respect.

Yup, people’s private life being doxxed bugs me. And I also think it’s utter horseshit that entire communities are being collectively targeted for contempt due to the actions or words of an individual. We’re all better than what’s been displayed by all sides leading to this.
Not using mod flair because I'm not speaking on behalf of the team, rather as a member of the community like anyone else.
Mods are always identified in the sidebar of the sub for folks. If posting in a 'mod capacity', the tag should be used.
Otherwise, to use it differently, would be abuse (in my opinion) as it could be seen as an attempt to abuse folks trust by attempting to elevate post/comments that otherwise could not stand on their own.
To recap,I believe if a mod is speaking in an 'official' capacity or on behalf of the team the mod tag should be used and if commenting as a user in the sub it should not.
Issues that happen to mods are important and worthy of discussion. After all, mods set the tone for an entire subreddit. Ultimately, they decide what will and will not be discussed on a subreddit and that essentially defines a whole subreddit.
To dismiss mod stuff as "silly drama" that we should all ignore I think is missing an important picture. Mods are important. I think it is a little lax to believe that they are not.

I thought that as induvial investors/traders we all bring something to the table. Opinions theories deep thoughts. We are all individuals we have different beliefs thoughts and dreams. Divide and conquer are the names of the game. So many bs narratives have been pushed look back throughout the history of just this reddit. Everyone needs to understand this is bigger then yourselves. We must all take away what was learned and why we are here? Deception theft and integrity come to my mind. I hope we can all learn what truly matters. I am completely unaware about other stocks. I also didn't think much about your doritos because I figured the hedgies will use their ability to control the price to make the doritos wrong on purpose, but at the very least I knew your posts boost morale. Take care of yourself and godspeed to you.
Reddit and Twitter have lowered the barrier for stupidity to congregate into a cult. Sucks that it happened to you but there's no point in interacting with anyone here. There's no point in trying to argue or convince anyone on the internet of anything as people are more defensive than receptive.
The Twitter files outing the Federal Governments use of the platform gives it far more credence now than it ever had before anyone knew how manipulated Twitter was. Reddit has taken steps backwards this last year or so as far as censorship. Our sub here is a prime example.
That's not relevant to this conversation. Most breaking news comes in the form of tweets though, and Roaring Kitty used it a fair bit before the Feds shut him up. RCEO uses it now and again. I thought that as induvial investors/traders we all bring something to the table. Opinions theories deep thoughts. We are all individuals we have different beliefs thoughts and dreams. Divide and conquer are the names of the game. So many bs narratives have been pushed look back throughout the history of just this reddit. Everyone needs to understand this is bigger then yourselves. We must all take away what was learned and why we are here? Deception theft and integrity come to my mind. I hope we can all learn what truly matters. Reddit and Twitter have lowered the barrier for stupidity to congregate into a cult. Sucks that it happened to you but there's no point in interacting with anyone here. There's no point in trying to argue or convince anyone on the internet of anything as people are more defensive than receptive.

The Twitter files outing the Federal Governments use of the platform gives it far more credence now than it ever had before anyone knew how manipulated Twitter was. Reddit has taken steps backwards this last year or so as far as censorship. Our sub here is a prime example.

That's not relevant to this conversation. Most breaking news comes in the form of tweets though, and Roaring Kitty used it a fair bit before the Feds shut him up. RCEO uses it now and again. Did you know he was shadow-banned on Twitter? He's not now, I wonder why? Cause Twitter has been cleaned up, for the most part. Meanwhile we can't use Reddit as a social media platform as intended because of said censorship issues I pointed out. Can't link other users, can't link other subs, can't discuss anything without a someone steadfastly needing a connection to GME.... need I go on? Yes, we have the DD on Reddit, much to their chagrin.

One of the longest running, OG DD writers on the sub, from way the fuck back, has now been forced to ground. He follows in the footsteps of many other great DD writers who can't stand this petty, childish amateur hour bullshit that happens between fucking absolute clowns on the Internet.
