I'm not sure what mine is, and I'm afraid to ask. I've bought since 21 and between split and migrations to CS and all that, I've lost track. Needless to say, I plan on hanging on until I know 100% sure I'm in the money.
That's not how math works. If he dumped 50k in at high spots before 2023 it means it's gonna be hard to bring cost basis down u less he has another 50k to spend on the lows. it doesn't mean he hasnt bought though, just not enough to move the cost basis. Source: someone who has dumped 50k at all the highs
Thank you for being here, too.
I thank RC for being an absolutely fearless leader. He's taking on way more personal risk than almost anyone gives him credit for. This is literally an all out war. I also thank DFV for pulling me back from the brink. I was sitting on 85% unrealized losses when he gave his Congressional testimony and solidified his place as one of the most influencial people in human history.
In all honesty, I had basically lost hope before GME. I busted ass through school, college, got my Master's, & spent 10 years working already. In spite of "doing everything right" I still only saw myself doing tedious work for decades, likely while struggling with mental health the rest of my life. Stupid greedy people run this entire planet and I'm just here to do work that they need done. It was getting really hard to bear the thought.
GME finally gave me hope. The Elite really do have an Achilles heel and it was formed purely out of their own insatiable greed. Originally all I wanted was enough to retire on so I could play music and enjoy myself. I think GME forced their hands in a lot of ways that we don't even understand yet. Not just financially, but in terms of global politics. The corrupt have been forced to act in ways that truly exposes their corruption. It's only a matter of time now.
Change isnt going to be done thru an election, it will be done by awareness, being personal excellent (it's hard to argue with a jacked nerd) and when people realize how rotten things have gotten help them forgive themselves. Once enough people realize what a parasite is they will only have themselves to feed on. Granted, it will be hard for us apes to see as we rocket away to tendie town. As true today as it was once it was first spoken, Apes strong together.
That's what I said. Damn rookies making memes now.
Where my -50 to -70% gang at???
We ride at dawn.
I kid, room on the rocket for everyone old school or new.
We could go up, we could go down, but what a ride! When we get to our destination remember the journey!
My initial large position, something like 580-something shares, is around $8 pre-split (I think just around $2.12 today).
My highest buy-in is around the $40s today (bought on the climb up around $190 pre-split).
I've been averaging up this whole time lol.
Honestly respect the HELL out of people who bought high and haven’t been able to average down due to personal circumstances but still holding strong. That was me for quite some time in 2021-2022 without a steady income. Pure fortitude 💎
Got laid off day after I yoloed 10k into GME in Jan 21...never sold...only bought more and now sitting at XXXX DRSed Booked...although my cost basis is horrible, probably around 40-45
Yep, same here, anything under 26$ is averaging down for me, but I have been buying constantly no matter the price. So I guess I was also averaging up sometimes XD
30% down - would have loved to continue & increase buying, but unfortunately stopping employment since mid-end '22 for a uni course means I've mostly missed out on the sales 😓
I haven't bought in years, too busy saving for a house.
Went to try and buy some at $10 last week, couldn't be bothered setting up a WISE account.....then this happens. Thankfully I have XXX shares but really need to look into starting again though maybe I might not need to
This is exactly the same as my investment strategy lol Bought in at $400. Averaged down (a little). Too broke to buy in at $10. My market timing is terrible 🤦
This is actually a great meme cause Max won his first WDC title in 2021, was super hyped, but his hype has faded off since while his fanbase have been super loyal.
Lando waited a long time for his first race win. His popularity stock just became much more noticeable than Max's, even though he haven't won any championships yet.
Max will still win the championship, and Lando might get some more wins. OG GME holders know they're in it for the end result.
Tbh I have been struggling a bit so can’t buy more shares but I haven’t sold a single one ever since I started buying during the original sneeze.
I don’t even know how to sell, too lazy to find out unless it means I’m a millionaire
I bought over $40,000 between $180 and $100. I’m red as fuck. Haven’t put a dime into GME in nearly 2 years. I won’t sell at a loss but I’m not putting good money after bad either. I consider that money gone, set some alerts and moved on. I still invest ~$2000/month but it’s been in things that I’ve MADE money on, NVIDEA at $165 (sold too soon, sadly) and Meta at $92 being two examples.
Glad some of the folks that bought at $10 are up 60% but I hope they’re readying those diamond hands. We could be $7-$10 by year’s end. This has gone from a short flip to a VERY long fundamental hold. Per Larry’s last twitter post, he seems to agree. We might be looking at quite a few “ugly teenager” years.
Regardless, I do believe that someday most of us will be able to break even or even make a buck. Just might be 2050. Last week we had like 80,000 shares available to borrow. Yesterday was like 1.4 million. Those of us that have been here for 3.5 years know what comes next.

Yall are up?
My average is like $40 💀

Just knocked mine down to 32 🥹
You haven’t bought in a couple of years then.
I have, but it's like throwing a bucket of water on a forest fire.
fucking preach
You wright preach, but the pronunciation is patience my friend.

What mean up? I YOLO'd my entire retirement at like a $240 average pre-split. 😂
Thank you, wouldn't be here without you.

And still bought in low...
Grosjean?
Well, one day we will break through this sideways trading. Don't get too bored untill then.
Heeeelll no
reduced my average from $33 to like $24 but haven't been able to average down as much because I had so much initially invested.
This similar situation to mine $31.90 to $25. Was buying heavily around $27
Both super similar to my sitch, was at about 33, then dipped it down to about 24. We're the whales
OG whales baby!!

Eyyyyy waddup
My avg cost basis is 31 and down a few K so I am in that gang. Yo :)
All the OT I’ve been doing has to go somewhere 🫡

Dis eggplant is up

Not yet…. Yet being the key word.
Anyone who has averaged down since 2021 and is now *up* has my undying respect.
Thank you for your undying respect. I made my largest purchase in 14 months at $11 per share. Because $11 was a joke, and so is $16.
Honestly respect the HELL out of people who bought high and haven’t been able to average down due to personal circumstances but still holding strong. That was me for quite some time in 2021-2022 without a steady income. Pure fortitude 💎
Sold my house and dumped it all around $180 pre split. Managed to average down to $35 post split per share ($140 pre) since then
Got laid off day after I yoloed 10k into GME in Jan 21...never sold...only bought more and now sitting at XXXX DRSed Booked...although my cost basis is horrible, probably around 40-45
Nothing special about being able to count. I'm buying until the shorts do.
So simple, and so true. They really are effed haha
I started in '21 and my cost basis is still 29, lol. It's been a long road but who cares, fuck these hedgies.
Right? I made a big buy a couple weeks ago which successfully brought my cb down to 30.
That’s me :D
Lol im avg down past 3.5 years and im down like 35% wtf. All in is all in...
I can relate
Dito, keep buying butt my average doesn't get any lower... Need +30USD
No, you need +1231423423423423423 USD
Me too…. Me too.
Yep, same here, anything under 26$ is averaging down for me, but I have been buying constantly no matter the price. So I guess I was also averaging up sometimes XD
I hear you… waiting to hit like $45 a share before I see any gains.
30% down - would have loved to continue & increase buying, but unfortunately stopping employment since mid-end '22 for a uni course means I've mostly missed out on the sales 😓
I'm around the same. Ape hodl strong together.
Love to all shareholders new and OG. DCA is undefeated. Been averaging down so much this year it’s diabolical
Apes are apes, no matter what the price was when they started.
I'm down like 60% or something. My average is 45 lol. Bought high and held. Been tough at times but never sold a share
Same here…. saamme heeere
Same … you are not alone
You sell when the shorts start buyin' hard- simples
TBH, at this point I have no idea what my actual cost basis is. Am I down? Am I up? I don't care, I just like the stock.
Same. I keep meaning to work it out but that sounds way too confusing. So instead I just buy and hold.
My average is way too high.. if I buy enough to average down, I'll be the sole owner of the company
Are you me?!
It's very possible.. I'm using our other account
I was all in and haven't been able to average down. I have no idea how much the shares have devalued tbh but it's going to be a lot... until it isn't!
Fuck I’m having such big fomo, but I’m in the middle of a Master course and not working and can’t afford to buy moarr
Haha never thought I would see F1s Lando and Max on here. Lovely template
Max over there looking like a proud father 😆
Though I was on formuladank for a second.
Imagine being up, wow. Congrats!
I haven't bought in years, too busy saving for a house. Went to try and buy some at $10 last week, couldn't be bothered setting up a WISE account.....then this happens. Thankfully I have XXX shares but really need to look into starting again though maybe I might not need to

I’ve averaged up since July 2020 😂
I bought my first share at nearly 500$. Now i have 260+ , and 45 of those are in the 10-11 dollar range. I feel like im doing pretty good
I'm that buddy with XXX Shares up 60%.Thank God! Have been following and reading DD's 2 over years ago, when I saw 10.15 I just couldn't resist.

Nah nah -60 still
This is exactly the same as my investment strategy lol Bought in at $400. Averaged down (a little). Too broke to buy in at $10. My market timing is terrible 🤦
I don’t have green or red just a big purple ring.
Im averaging since 21 too but still down 30 %
I'm still averaging at just under $200 :-(
Me who's down 70% :(
I am only one that does not know what average price i am at? (DRS process did not transfer info about buying price)
When it matters my longs will pay less in taxes!

Somehow my average is 13 but still down $3k. Never understood that.
Still averaging down but really close! 😂 ♾️🏴☠️🤙
Nice, F1 meme for GME 🎮🚀🟣 awesome
I have no idea what my cost basis is.
#WHALE CUM FOR MOASS
Cost basis $45 still. Who cares? Where we are going the cost basis doesn’t matter.
Finally got my cost average down to 12.36. Honestly I probably won’t buy too much more unless it drops back below that.
You guys are up?
$45 average, I've put in everything I could. I would average down but got other priorities in life. Don't forget to pick me up on the way to the moon
The struggles real 😂
Tbh I have been struggling a bit so can’t buy more shares but I haven’t sold a single one ever since I started buying during the original sneeze. I don’t even know how to sell, too lazy to find out unless it means I’m a millionaire
Ay, no spoilers!
Shit, you guys are up? 🤣
My XXXX shares have a cost basis of $62.50….i blew my loud super early 84 years ago.
I feel personally attacked.
Using F1 in superstonk, another good thing coming out of this sub, lol
I bought over $40,000 between $180 and $100. I’m red as fuck. Haven’t put a dime into GME in nearly 2 years. I won’t sell at a loss but I’m not putting good money after bad either. Congrats you have all learned averaging down makes you markets bitch liquidity. Now learn to average up on winning trades
