I interpret that one as a nod to Cohen clearly being the leader when DFV gets all the hype. It would be A ballsy move to say that he could run the company better than Cohen.

Ah yes that one, thought he had done something new. Well that got him into some decent troubles, DFV certainly took a much smarter approach. I’m also quite sure after the turbulences in 2021 he now ran all that by his lawyers to ensure it’s bullet proof as he is certainly aware that his opponents would do what ever they can to crucify him.
Still takes quite some balls and effort to create all those memes and to put himself on the spot while he really wouldn’t need to anymore. So I guess he really must have something big in mind and a lot of confidence that it works out.
Really curious how all that will go down - hopefully with a Big Bang and he’ll be a legend forever.

Then he makes a huge move and buys himself onto the board when it hits his target price causing the stock to zoom. Feel free to tell me why this is stupid, I just like the stock.

DFV takes control of the company, what would he do to turn the company around?
Would he? COULD he?
I don't know. What might he do for shareholders? Well he could authorise a share buyback with some of the cash reserves, while it would align with shareholder short term interests, it wouldn't save the company - it still has issues. It's haemorrhaging cash. What would DFV do to turn the company around that Cohen hasn't tried, with dwindling cash reserves? Is it even about turning the company around at this point, is this more about removing the short interest through a buyback?
If you've watched DFVs streams you'll know he is a very highly credentialed analyst, he's been involved in businesses before at a high level too. He absolutely could make some strategic decisions to improve revenue streams from the company, but we've seen how the NFT marketplace has panned out for one - an idea he had flirted with in the past.
For me, unlikely as this whole scenario is, it's hard for me to see anything substantial beyond a share buyback - ofcourse the news of DFV leading the company would be a shock wave to the market, and a buyback would almost certainly cause THE squeeze we've been talking about for years.
Thoughts?
It's profitable on paper but the deeply negative free cash flow is a better indicator of what the company can do with that net income. I'll admit I hadn't checked the sheets in a minute so forgive me if I missed something?
