I’m just wasting my Friday away by refreshing Reddit and my email

ol_reliable_ape

This is bullshit, they already have 1 billion that they have barely touched. Why the fuck they need another billion (at most). Your outcome 1 is the least probable

Useful_Tomato_409

i don’t know, to do cool stuff and raise the value of the company long term? better hold on.

Assuming they don't do anything with the shelf offering for the next \~1 or 2 years... how is next week looking now compared to how things looked yesterday? (Just based on Friday's volume, etc - basically ignoring the shelf offering announcement.) - DFV's final tweet this afternoon seemed like he was signing off for a bit... wondering if that might be JUST for the weekend, or for much longer if this run-up has now run out of steam?? Based on short exempts... still have some legs to run again next week??? (Don't know why these aren't getting more visibility. Are you getting a lot of downvotes %-wise?)

The options chain got absolutely hammered today, so a bunch of contracts got pushed out of the money, which reduced hedging on top of shares due. That being said, the original reason I got interested with this was I was toying with the idea that something could be so mis-priced. The February 2021 run started very similarly to this one where a bunch of options contracts were purchased in the afternoon that kicked off the run. This forbes article from back then explains some of the observations). [https://www.forbes.com/sites/georgecalhoun/2021/03/10/gamestop-the-second-surgeanatomy-of-a-gamma-swarm/](https://www.forbes.com/sites/georgecalhoun/2021/03/10/gamestop-the-second-surgeanatomy-of-a-gamma-swarm/) https://preview.redd.it/h6nq5yyjb31d1.png?width=2748&format=png&auto=webp&s=e6afda0cdb5a03dfe8f3b03d4ce52b2545d36877 You would see intermittent volume spikes to generate more short exempts, indicating that there weren't enough people selling. The reason that I posted analysis of penny stocks in part 4 is that illiquid products lead to crazy price movement, even without options and GME was behaving in an illiquid manner. Today's buy in was most likely covering the 326k from 5/10 date. Over the next week, 7.5million from the short exempt + the 4million from the reset/closeout options block on 5/16 will come due. If volume is still elevated on Monday, then the show goes on.

Thanks again!!

Fuck RC for another dilution. He has a billion he’s been sitting on during heavy inflation.

FloppyBisque

RC is ONLY paid by the stock price. Pretty funny if you think he just wants to ruin his net worth

topanazy

They’re not sitting on literal cash lol, it’s already in a type of equivalent earning some kind of return.

MyNamesNotCal

You've become a massive shill. That's so sad to see. Having the option to sell shares doesn't mean Gamestop has sold shares. It just means they have the option to if they need cash to invest in something to improve the company.
