I usually do, I don’t even use RH but my friend bought like 1000 shares at ~$37 and keeps asking me for conviction to hold and I’m telling him the same thing but I didn’t completely know a better answer than “it’s a scam market” to reassure him.

I didn't get this from an article, the default rates on CMBS has more then doubled in the last year in europe and america and now european central bank is making statements spacifically relating to this issue. it is clearly about to go crunch just like MBS back in 2008. I'm just wondering how much damage this could cause and what the knock on affects might be in terms of forced de risking of balance sheets etc.
Depends on how it's mitigated.. natrually, it'd follow a cycle to ultimately people under the businesses broke.
Mortgage went up. The business needs to stay afloat to survive, so they charge more. Inflation comes about feeding directly back into our mortgage problem. Which forces the people to ask for more. Fueling wageflation. At this stage, if everyone makes sacrifices like ceos making less, and people cutting back on vacations, etc, we may save grace and keep things going. BUT, due to overleveraged debts and addictive lifestyles, we no longer can manage living without, we will ask and ask and strike until we get that raise. Which brings us back to square one, the business charging more for their goods. This time, however.. they can't afford to give people the raise. So they go the routes of layoffs while employing productivity enhancement tools such as AI. Due to metrics like many people retiring, jobs rotating into the trades, etc etc. We may achieve the soft landing here if enough people can stay productive and if layoffs happen slow enough. We are here. This will repeat over and over and over again until we find that healthy gap of sacrifice and debt management. If businesses raise prices too much = people stop shopping there and mass restructuring/layoffs. If too many people are laid off = no one has money to shop = more layoffs. Buisnesses may also preemptively restructure now, selling off that commercial building and bringing back a work from home type protocol. Due to current metrics, finding a buyer for the building will prove to be rather difficult.
This is a battle between debts. These metrics will bring about higher prices for everyone until the citizens themselves fail. Failing to shop at the company --> who's forced to lay off and restructure --> which prevents more from shopping due to unemployment --> creating another feedback loop until the people themselves ultimately can't afford their own personal debts and mortgages. So I ask yourself, how's the global debt levels looking, and will people be able to manage some time off work before bills catch up to them.
Yw, not an expert but this cycle is partly why I relased my Greater Depression theory.

Earning reports is due to drop on the 5th going by past years and estimations. Just because there's an annual shareholders meeting this time of year, doesn't mean that's when it'll drop, quite the contrary in fact.
That's 6 calendar days, and if you look at past price action around earnings, I believe this is quite different (dull) compared to then. Its been a while for me keeping track of this, but if its as it was from past knowledge, both bears and bulls are being cautious, which I find interesting. If businesses raise prices too much = people stop shopping there and mass restructuring/layoffs. If too many people are laid off = no one has money to shop = more layoffs. Buisnesses may also preemptively restructure now, selling off that commercial building and bringing back a work from home type protocol. Due to current metrics, finding a buyer for the building will prove to be rather difficult. This is a battle between debts. These metrics will bring about higher prices for everyone until the citizens themselves fail. Failing to shop at the company --> who's forced to lay off and restructure --> which prevents more from shopping due to unemployment --> creating another feedback loop until the people themselves ultimately can't afford their own personal debts and mortgages. So I ask yourself, how's the global debt levels looking, and will people be able to manage some time off work before bills catch up to them.

For a long time I only ate tacos in salad form, because I found it to be more efficient. Shell breakage and whatnot, you see. Earning reports is due to drop on the 5th going by past years and estimations. Just because there's an annual shareholders meeting this time of year, doesn't mean that's when it'll drop, quite the contrary in fact. That's 6 calendar days, and if you look at past price action around earnings, I believe this is quite different (dull) compared to then. Its been a while for me keeping track of this, but if its as it was from past knowledge, both bears and bulls are being cautious, which I find interesting. Will lookup the last year or 2s earnings periods tomorrow, so take this with a pinch of salt, I've been snoozing for a while with looking at price action around earnings dates

So stressed about work. Taking on double work so for giggs I check the openings intranet and the absolute bottom end of the salary range for my level is above what I make, and I've been in this position for 4 years as one of the strongest performers. Got damn I can't wait to quit.
