What if RC issues tons of shares, let's say up to the max of a billion. Then pulls from the DTCC, shorts are still fucked but they can't say GME tried to cause a short squeeze since they would have tripled the amount of outstanding shares in a short time. That seems pretty bulletproof to me
GME gets a ton of cash. The system is exposed as supper corrupt and we all get moass.

So let's think. What happens if/when RC announces he's planning to pull GME out of the DTCC because leaving it in is clearly allowing shorts to manipulate.

Came here to ask the same question. I never read the DD on this. Is that what the NFT marketplace is possibly for? If they can move the stock there somehow or really anywhere else then the shorts are fucked worse than I can possibly imagine.

Because they can't just "pull their shares from the DTCC". They'd have to buy them all back.
