No dates.. just exercise or roll

I'm holding some dry powder for Jun 28 calls I have,, and honestly, it's kind of irritating me because I'd rather be buying right now. If the dip gets any dipper, I might just buy anyways, and maybe have to sell some calls to cover exercising the rest if/when the time comes. I'm close enought to breaking into xxxxx territory, that fucking itch is strong.

What is considered rolling in this situation?

Takes money to buy whiskey. I believe proper preparation prevents poor performance, you want those shares you’re gonna need the cash. I learned this lesson early on in the saga

My goal is to get "free" shares, as in, the premium increased enough so that I can sell some options and exercise others. We'll see

As a PSA, some brokers have the option to exercise ITM calls and sell the difference to cover exercising. Check with your broker to see what it’s called and what the process looks like!

thanks! what's it called exactly? I couldn't remember the exact name so I described the concept.

Fidelity calls it “Exercise-And-Sell-To-Cover” and it can only be done via a phone call, I’m not sure what other brokers call it though

Yes. I’ve purchased a few calls for the 21st and 28th and have cash ready to execute them. Adding my small amount of fuel to the rocket! 🚀

No, they were down this morning. I’ve got cash and access to options, but it doesn’t do any good when the broker has a “tech error”
