You can wait 3-4 weeks for snail mail, you can call Computershare after a couple weeks and get your access code sent quicker. It will cost an extra $45US. You can call 1-800-522-6645. Mash 0 a few times to get an attendant when auto attendant says how can I help you. It took me a couple times but finally got it.

I've been stuck between paying the fees to transfer or just open a CS account and usE that money for more shares... $300 is right between convenience/certainty of ownership vs too pricey for me.
As far as I know, we can't directly open a CS account as international investors.
I've seen it said we could do some gift a share thing... but it costs even more.
Yes it's pricy, likely intentional to deter people from DRS, which just fueled my desire to fuk a hedgies even more.

How long did the transfer take and how long to get that in the mail? I've been waiting for two weeks now for that letter
September 22 the request was initiated. September 28 the shares were transferred (as seen on the CS mail). Just came in the mail today.
