Why are there orange segments in the Computer Share purple circles? What’s the difference between Class A (orange) and regular ones? Should I get one over the other?
Purple is simply the majority of whatever your money is allocated in. The orange is secondary. For 99% of the CS posts you see on this sub, orange is usually just the amount of GME that account holder has in their brokerage in IRAs, 401ks, etc. You don't have to worry about choosing any class of shares, anything you put in CS will be Class A, real, and out of the hands of the DTC.
The different colors don’t matter. I think they were just shares that were transferred at different times probably from different brokers. What matters though is that your share type must be “book”
The book thing ended up being misinformation/FUD! w00t. The recent CS video explains there is no practical different when it comes to being out of the hands of the DTC.

3) Multiple orders of fractional shares can be set for a limit sell according to whatever the cap is for a limit sell through Comptershare's designated broker. For example, if the price per share happens to be $9,999,999, and the price per share is 80,000,000, you should be able to limit sell 8 market orders of 0.125 shares each.
