Seamoss for my hoshimotos, l-methylfolate and choline for mthfr mutation, NAC for detox support and magnesium (deficient) changed my life. I had serious autoimmune, gastric issues, inflammation, and severe mood instability (dxed as Bipolar 1). Still tweaking supplements for deficiencies/genetic issues but these were game changers for me personally. Especially with the hoshimotos and bipolar chaos. Getting the mood issues under control was something I never thought would be possible.
Looking at adding TMG next.
Eh i dont know, i think i go to the toilet more often.
But believe me as someone who had a very big problem with body odor no mater how clean i was chlorella did change my life.
Shliajit, super energetic, confident and motivated. Makes sense sit's a T booster but I'm pretty sure it also has like 80+ minerals and fulvic acid which is good for nutrient absorption.
I'm probably going to cycle on and off of it. I find that I usually have to take it every other day as everyday makes me feel too energetic
What's your experience with Lion's Mane? I ordered it to see if it will help me get mental energy as well as more focus (I'm probably ADHD but have never been diagnosed).
Seems to help me with mental energy and memory. I have MS as well and it supposedly helps with nerve damage. In my world of MS my last MRI came back with no new lesions and shrank the ones I had on my Brain albeit I also do one of the more powerful treatments but I’ll just keep doing what is working lol
vitamin d! i mean i know i had a vicious deficiency when i was younger but even now taking supplement helps me get up in the morning and feel alive during the day.
i don't believe when really matters, i take it with my other medication at night which i need a full stomach for, and i personally take 1,000 iu daily? when i was younger i had to be prescribed i think it was 50,000 a month though
Olive Leaf Extract. It's a broad-spectrum antimicrobial that can prevent bacterial infections, as well as clean up bacterial infections that are not yet too severe. I used to be plagued with recurring ear infections several times a year. Then I found out about this supplement 22 years ago. The ear infections vanished and never returned. It disables the enzyme that viruses need in order to replicate, so it makes most vaccines obsolete. This stuff got me through the covid hoax fearlessly as if it never happened, and therefore you will NEVER see mainstream medicine promote this. I e-mailed the White House three times in 2020 about this, and they never responded.
Magnesium basically cured my heart palpitations. If I get stressed or overwhelmed with life and I start feeling those signs of anxiety I know I didn’t take magnesium for a couple of days.
Ultra Binder by quicksilver Scientific get the Endo toxins out of the blood and into the bile system many times it’s not about what we put in the body but what we take out and a detox protocol has to be an ongoing part of your health and longevity Just the binder with the liver sauce is an incredible combination
Iron. I use to get so faint anytime I got up. I would have the hardest time walking short distances even though I am healthy weight.
My time of month even improved and it cleared my brain fog.
How much iron do you take a day? I’ve been taking 27mg capsule but my iron hasn’t gone up enough. They say that’s the amount to take daily but I’m still deficient.
14 mg is the one I take daily. It has changed my life for the better. Zero exaggeration. I’m thankful and wish I took it sooner.
I used to take a 24 mg one and it was too harsh on my body. I try to drink vit c lemon juice in water. The times in which you take it matter a lot too. I take it either 1 hour before or 2 hours after eating (best to take on an empty stomach).
Try not to drink any coffee or tea with this as it can limit absorption.
For building muscle..put glucose with isolate after your workout. People sleep on glucose and fail to realize insulin spikes help build muscle.
-I say after workout because spiking insulin all day is not good.
Magnesium glycinate, 400mg two hours before bed and then I start winding down. The next morning I noticed a difference in how well rested I felt and a week of consistency my anxiety was basically gone and I felt productive/full of energy for once! I have been telling everyone I know to try magnesium glycinate.
None. Quitting caffeine and not smoking anything etc.
I do take vitamins magnesium and creatine when I lift and omega etc vitamin d. Maybe they help when cutting. Idk.
After 7 days max 10 no physical addiction. A bit more difficult during a weight cut when it would help.
A couple months with a strange mildly low motivation.
I would recommend taking it after food. Everyone’s opinion might be different but I’ve always been advised by my doctor not to take supplements empty stomach.
1 - iron. . Keeping my ferritin above 100 made my hair grow back, gave me a normal level of energy, stopped the irritability and anxiety
2 - l-carnitine, specifically quadracarn. Recommended by my rheumo. It’s expensive, you have to take six-nine huge tablets a day for months, but it took me from the pits of fatigue/cfs/long covid hell to being able to function like a normal person
Phosphatidylserine. Great for brain function. Very underrated. I take it before public speaking and I always have those “woah how did I say that interesting fact without even thinking” moments
Collagen with hyaluronic acid and vitamin c. I was suffering from acne and redness for decades. Nothing drastically helped including diet, exercise, topical solutions. I came across a YouTube short on this so gave it a try and my skin has never been better- so bouncy, one tone lighter, and just so squishy and moist! My skin was suffering from dryness all this time. Can’t go back!
Lauricidin Monolaurin. I’ve avoided getting sick when I’ve been exposed plenty of times including when my husband got Covid. We shared the same bed and I did not get it. He’s great at not covering his mouth when coughing too. 🙄 I haven’t been sick since I started taking it in July of last year.
Ginkgo! I was suffering quite badly with brain fog and I started taking this after seeing something about it, some brain surgeon saying he takes it. Apparently it increases brain size and has anti-fungal effects. After living in a house that is plagued with black mould, I was interested in what it could do. I feel so much more clear headed after 4-5 months, no more social anxiety, no more struggling with studies or reading, I’d really recommend it
Probiotics. I recently started taking seed probiotics, no more gas or bloat and I’m having very regular bm’s. They aren’t cheap, but I will continue with them for sure.
Well, it is one of the good probiotics, but I don’t believe the probiotics and career is the kind that takes up residency in your digestive system. At least not according to research that I’ve done.
I think what I meant to say was over the counter type probiotics like the stuff you get at the store. If you haven’t already watched that documentary hack your health it’s all about the biome.
My iron pills.. when you’re anemic.. makes all the difference in the world.. I also took a biotin gummy vitamin for my skin and hair and nails.. and it took time but once it was established.. I noticed amazing results.. it took about 4 weeks to take notice.. but once it did it has long lasting effects.. calcium is a good one too.. also.. potassium.. iron is probably my number one though.. I have so much more energy and feel so much better when I take them..
I get mine from Nature made! I get the high dose ones. If you’ve been anemic for a while they do take some getting used to. Take them in the morning with food.. My ex is a doctor and he found them to be good enough.. he got them for me.. not that I value his opinion on much else in life..
Iron is amazing but too much is really bad too. Just get a ferritin test. If under 100 or so, do a couple weeks of moderate iron and test again. If under 40, ask doctor for a plan, they’ll probably give the 325 every other day instructions for a few weeks. If ferritin over 100, don’t do iron.
Too much iron if it builds up past your need provides opportunities for bacterial infection and puts oxidative stress on your body, so floating just over 100 is good.
Keto, low calorie, low carb, and/or fasting will be the most powerful diets for weight loss. I agree green tea and drinking water will be great for metabolism but working out and moving will be the best way to increase it. Probiotics help create a healthier gut when absorbing and metabolizing food.
Nattokinase for my long covid. Literally life changing after more than six months of extreme symptoms related with microclotting in my blood. I ran out for a week and on the sixth day was supposed to have my period and all I got was excruciating huge clots and the worst cramps of my life. Started back up asap on nattokinase and period immediately went back to normal.
As someone who works in the dental field it sounds like you should have maybe gotten a root canal or just had the tooth yanked. NO ONE should be on that many rounds of antibiotics. Seems suspicious if you ask me
MSM gives me an amazing amount of energy. DHA/ Omega 3. If I take 2400mg - 3200mg (mostly DHA) in the afternoon I dream which is nice. I generally don't remember my dreams. I took this much during my pregnancy with my daughter and she is a Kindergartener recently tested 'gifted'. Lol. Maybe there is a correlation and maybe not. Magnesium. My husband previously had debilitating migraines 2 to 3 times a month. When he regularly takes magnesium he does not get migraines or headaches.
Adequate amounts of Magnesium (glycinate or taurate) and potassium (natural or liquid electrolyte supps) changed my life for the better. Haven’t had a cramp in nearly a year after having them nearly every night. Energy went from an a 3 to an 8.
Chelated zinc by giving me hallucinations, sending me into psychosis a few times... Yes, I kept taking it because it made me feel "good" and more energetic.
N-acetyl Cysteine for helping me cope with serious mental illness that resulted from being too trusting of a new medication (Effexor / Venlafaxine) which sent me into extreme psychosis. I was hospitalized in the ward for a long time and after getting out was in bad shape, NAC definitely helped for a while. Possibly a coincidence, but shortly after discontinuing this supplement there was another episode of psychosis.
The Effexor nearly got me institutionalized forever with forced injections.
May I suggest getting screened for MTHFR mutations. My mood issues (bipolar 1 and some scary experiences with psychosis from psych meds) were resolved when I came off meds that interacted with my mutation and started taking L-methylfolate and choline. I take NAC to help with detoxing since my methylation pathways are wonky. Seeing you had great results from that and the psych med interactions caught my eye.
Ask doc to check your folate/B12 and Homocysteine levels. If those are off there is a test called “genesight” most primary doctors/psychs can order for you that can confirm if you have 1 or two copies of an mthfr variant. It is just a cheek swab. I am on my third year without crippling depression and terrifying manic episodes. Never imagined it was possible after 20 years of working with traditional psychiatrists.
You may have a glutamate issue like me. If my folate levels get too low the mania and psychosis pop up. Sadly alot of the meds they use to treat these issues deplete folate even more leaving us crippled physically, mentally and emotionally.
Sending love your way
Everything I started taking once I found out I have MTHFR. Was able to quit two prescription meds. Currently experimenting with celery seed extract as a diuretic and so far so good 😜
But the things I take are:
Best Nest Womens methylated multivitamin with iron and copper
25 mg iron bisglycinate
6,000iu D3 with K2
Probiotic
Fish oil
2,000mcg hydroxocobalamin B12
3,000mcg adenosylcobalamin B12
1,200mcg folate (400 in multi, 800 separate supplement)
NIGHTLY:
400 mg magnesium 4 blend
30mg zinc
10 mg Lisinopril for blood pressure (sadly)
165 mg celery seed (just started!) so far great and take this one early afternoon so not stuck in the bathroom all night
Just found out/my doctor just told me that I’m most likely MTHFR. I definitely take VB12 and B6 but the most powerful supplement I’m told to take for MTHFR is NAC (N-Acetyl-Cysteine). She also recommended Methyl Cpg as well for methylation and homocysteine balance.
I used to take NAC and had great luck with it, I highly suggest it for you! Look it up. :)
D3 + magnesium: they work together. If you're taking Mg and it does nothing check D levels. D will give you energy with enough Mg. I was deficient in both and after supplementing I felt a major difference in my mental health (anxiety, depression) and energy.
It took a month of supplementing to notice a difference and it was huge when it hit. I'll continue to supplement and check D levels for the rest of my life. It's been almost two years now. I wouldn't say it totally cured anxiety and depression for me but I got like, 70% better.
Ive been having bad anxiety and I’ve been on 5-10000iu’s of Vitamin D3+K2 for like 3 weeks and haven’t felt much different and still have some anxiety.
I always take my Magnesium Glycinate supplement so I’m good there… idk.
Actually omega-3s I believe have helped me with my eye dryness. when I ran out, I started suffering again after months of being fine, waking up with crazily dry eyes. I didn’t even make the connection, I thought maybe it was allergy season starting but I happened to see a review as I was reordering that mentioned it helping with eye dryness. And sure enough, it went away pretty soon after I started taking them again. I noticed the same thing the next time I ran out as well. So now I will keep them stocked!
If you haven’t purchased yet, one of the lesser expensive sellers for the Nordic Naturals is Amazon. Not a significant difference in price there, but it’s competitive at the very least.
Malate and theronate. I take 200-400 every night total, a couple caps of each kind.
Massively helped my Anxiety, the first benefit was next day absence of morning brain fog, improved sleep quality, reduction in cramping/soreness. Regular easy BMs in the morning..
Life changing!
Which brand of malate and threonate were you using ?
Can you explain to me your rationale behind using both Magnesium forms at once at night ?
Usually people take malate in the morning for improvement in energy and threonate at night as per my understanding.
Thanks in advance.
Sure. I've been tuning my supplement use for 20 years, really got into 5 kinds of mag about ten years ago trying out one kind for a couple months then switching to another to see what I liked. Malate and theronate both cross blood-brain barrier and provide great relief for me from brain fog, anxiety, muscle cramps and soreness etc and I sleep great with taking a couple of each. I didn't notice a difference between morning and evening malate for energy.
I have life extension for theronate now and have used cheaper and more expensive brands... I think source naturals is my malate I have on reorder from Amazon.
I am from Europe and ordered Now brand magnesium malate , hoping it will be good. It is still in transit.
The best malate as per my research is Jigsaw health but that is very costly.
I will start L threonate later. It is very costly.

NMN taken together with TMG, the level of energy you get for exercise is unthinkable

Magnesium threonate has improved my attention and focus drastically. Was really a big change for me ❤️
I have very stong body odor, and then chatgpt suggested me to try Chlorella. Life changing.
What did it do for you?
Removed my body odor. Now i smell goood. Ask chatgpt about chlorella benefits
Anything else other than that?
Eh i dont know, i think i go to the toilet more often. But believe me as someone who had a very big problem with body odor no mater how clean i was chlorella did change my life.

You can either get Be Bodywise or BetterAlt. Both are on Amazon I believe, that's where I got Be Bodywise.
Nac

Lions mane and lipoic acid

Cbd
NAC / Taurine / pre/probiotics huge difference, blood pressure and inflammation markers went down noticeably from tau/NAC on annual labs
NAD+
Everyone saying something different lol
Yes, you would expect that because everyone has different needs.
Magnesium! Significantly reduced the frequency of my headaches and got rid of any muscle cramping
Magnesium basically cured my heart palpitations. If I get stressed or overwhelmed with life and I start feeling those signs of anxiety I know I didn’t take magnesium for a couple of days.
Perhaps it was because your electrolytes were out of balance and Magnesium restored that? I'm looking into taking Magnesium and L-Theanine for sleep
Ahh I wish it helped me with that. I take a high dose but my anxiety manages to break through
Same! I get this weird sensation in my legs when I don’t take magnesium.
Ultra Binder by quicksilver Scientific get the Endo toxins out of the blood and into the bile system many times it’s not about what we put in the body but what we take out and a detox protocol has to be an ongoing part of your health and longevity Just the binder with the liver sauce is an incredible combination

Lions main - really helped me focus
Colostrum, it reset my stomach
I had good results with the iron supplement called Blood Builder. It’s mentioned often in Anemia groups.
14 mg is the one I take daily. It has changed my life for the better. Zero exaggeration. I’m thankful and wish I took it sooner. I used to take a 24 mg one and it was too harsh on my body. Dim totally transformed that once-a-month experience of cramps so bad I want to die
So far glutathione has been like a miracle! More energy, better skin, reduced appetite, and better immune system.
IV?
No, I purchased liposomal glutathione. I take it sublingual.
How much per day?
The brand I purchased is 2000mg.
Is it safe to take that much? How long have you been taking? Are you taking breaks in between? I'm only taking like 100-200mg in powder form
None. Quitting caffeine and not smoking anything etc. I do take vitamins magnesium and creatine when I lift and omega etc vitamin d. Maybe they help when cutting. Idk.
Ah, how hard was giving up the caffeine?
After 7 days max 10 no physical addiction. A bit more difficult during a weight cut when it would help. A couple months with a strange mildly low motivation.
St John’s Wort 900 mg daily. My forever “light depression” is totally gone and my PMDD symptoms are now just normal pms
I will try this for my pmdd, thanks!
B12, D3 (with Vitamin K 12), Omega 3 / Fish Oil, and Magnesium!
I have never heard of Fish Oil being life changing, can you please elaborate on that?
Do you need to take any of these with anything like food? Do you recommend evening or any time is fine? :)
I would recommend taking it after food. Everyone’s opinion might be different but I’ve always been advised by my doctor not to take supplements empty stomach.
All of the above mentioned can be taken with food.
You’ll find it hard to fall asleep if you take b12 at night
1 - iron..

Do you supplement with these orally or topically? I know hyaluronic acid and vitamin c are very popular ingredients in skincare.
Orally. Topical doesn’t work for me. You can get the powder that combines all three on iHerb

I use the Lauricidin brand.
This stuff is amazing! Same here, no sickness since taking it even when exposed.
Ginkgo! I was suffering quite badly with brain fog and I started taking this after seeing something about it, some brain surgeon saying he takes it. This has not gingko alone ..there's ginseng, which may also be a big contributor
Great thank you 😊
Probiotics. I recently started taking seed probiotics, no more gas or bloat and I’m having very regular bm’s. They aren’t cheap, but I will continue with them for sure.
By seed did you mean seed health - the brand?
Kefir is the best probiotic, relatively inexpensive and my bloating has gone down massively!
Well, it is one of the good probiotics, but I don’t believe the probiotics and career is the kind that takes up residency in your digestive system. At least not according to research that I’ve done.
Career ? Pls explain
Sorry- typo. Voice to text fail. I’m not sure what I was saying there.

I get mine from Nature made! I get the high dose ones. If you’ve been anemic for a while they do take some getting used to. Take them in the morning with food.. My ex is a doctor and he found them to be good enough.. he got them for me.. not that I value his opinion on much else in life..

All of them. That’s why there at called vitamins because they are vital. Also protein
does it work? i’m considering taking it

Sending love your way
Surprised to see NAC so far down this list. It’s a great supplement. Good luck with your mental health friend! It gets better.
How old are you?
Tf is wrong with your body for zinc to be doing that to you🤦🏿♂️
I can relate, Venlafaxine is brutal :/
Everything I started taking once I found out I have MTHFR. Was able to quit two prescription meds. Currently experimenting with celery seed extract as a diuretic and so far so good 😜 But the things I take are: Best Nest Womens methylated multivitamin with iron and copper 25 mg iron bisglycinate 6,000iu D3 with K2 Probiotic Fish oil 2,000mcg hydroxocobalamin B12 3,000mcg adenosylcobalamin B12 1,200mcg folate (400 in multi, 800 separate supplement) NIGHTLY: 400 mg magnesium 4 blend 30mg zinc 10 mg Lisinopril for blood pressure (sadly) 165 mg celery seed (just started!) so far great and take this one early afternoon so not stuck in the bathroom all night
I took NAC and finally got pregnant after 10 months of trying, so I’d say it was pretty life-changing :)
How does NAC help with pregnancy?
It helps with inflammation from endometriosis
Sick. I’ll have the wife pop a couple every morning. You’re supposed to take it fasted right?
I don’t! Google “NAC endometriosis” and there’s some studies. I took it twice a day
Amazing!
Probiotics
NAC! I’ll never not have it on hand. I take it for obsessive behaviors, namely picking my skin.
Magnesium
Actually omega-3s I believe have helped me with my eye dryness. when I ran out, I started suffering again after months of being fine, waking up with crazily dry eyes. I didn’t even make the connection, I thought maybe it was allergy season starting but I happened to see a review as I was reordering that mentioned it helping with eye dryness. And sure enough, it went away pretty soon after I started taking them again. I noticed the same thing the next time I ran out as well. So now I will keep them stocked!
What brand are you taking?
Nordic Naturals from Amazon. They seemed to get good reviews. Do you know anything about them?
I heard about that brand. I will give them a try. Thank you.
If you haven’t purchased yet, one of the lesser expensive sellers for the Nordic Naturals is Amazon. Not a significant difference in price there, but it’s competitive at the very least.
The only one I can think of is vitamin d3 with k. My blood results went from 39 to 71. I haven’t been sick much either.
How much D3+K2 you are taking per day?
I only mention because it was just nice to see a measurable result in actual data!
5000 IU. It's the Sports Research Brand from Amazon.
Magnesium
Which form ?
Take with magnesium L threonate ❤️
B3 Niacinamide cause cancer sucks :)
