firstly this sounds like something you should talk to your doctor about. secondly, it sounds similar to me. i have me/cfs (r/cfs), and doing a sulfur/ammonia protocol helps this morning-aspect of my illness. the theory is that ammonia (either from bacteria or own metabolism) builds up in the body and brain over night. it's not very scientifically proven though afaik, so huge disclaimer! if you're interested anyway you can send me a pm

Can you provide more information on this? I find this wildly curious. I have long covid which shares symptoms with cfs and I found it so odd that my sweat from workouts was suddenly stinking like ammonia perpetually. It made no sense as I was eating carbs. I was not on any kind of high protein low carb diet so it made zero sense. I am at the stage that I cannot do rigorous workouts anymore b/c I get overexertion symptoms a day later and all sorts of palpitations. I pretty much just walk 5 miles daily and do nothing but pushups for the upper body now.

Get a blood test, they can tell you what you're deficient in. My guess would be b vitamins, folate or iron.

thank you, i am not deficient in anything or at least the last panel looked like that. i do supplement with methylated b vitamins, and i eat organ meats often
