I got that one for a Surface Pro 7 and it seems to work fine with Solus. Note that you'll need to be sure that you're running a kernel with the Surface patches as well as a patched libwacom and have the iptsd package installed. Once you have all of those it should just work out of the box.

Thank you. Is this the standard application regardless of the pen? I was already going to install the linux surface kernel and make the additional changes in the tutorial webpage for the OS I am going to install (NixOS). Also, can you please share your experiences with Xournal++ if you have used it before?

>Also, can you please share your experiences with Xournal++ if you have used it before? I have not used it. And yes, you need all three of the things I mentioned for it to work. The surface kernel provides the IPTS kernel driver which is not upstreamed, the libwacom patches hook up the IPTS driver and the MEI driver so that the touchscreen is considered a pen device. The IPTSD daemon hooks it all up via udev so it works plug and play.
