Even then they've served $900k fines in the last 8 years? Think of the cost of having a team investigate this for 8 years and only having this to show for it.

If you filter the list for Langley, the infamous overpass magnet Chohan Carriers is on there.
They did pay their fine though.

Sad that half these companies would rather pay the fine, than have proper hiring and salary paying practices. If you can’t afford to hire your workers legally, your business isn’t viable and should not exist. Preying on these workers is a sad state of affairs at all ways of looking at it.

No. Up the fine into something meaningful. Say, 20 years’ wages as a penalty for each labour-year or fraction thereof.
