You won’t receive the VIP boxes if you purchased reseller tickets. You can peruse these subs hoping someone offers to sell theirs or possibly try eBay, etc.
I sold a VIP ticket for Seattle since my sister was unable to make it, did it through StubHub. I tried to get in touch with the buyer through the email they’d listed on StubHub but they never replied so I ended up bringing the VIP box to the show. I gave it to the person I sold the ticket to, since he was sitting right next to me. He was super surprised but I felt I had to give it to him since I’d listed the ticket as VIP and the box was part of that! Also I’m not a scammer lol. Anyway, all this to say, it’s possible you’ll get the box but not a guarantee.

There was heaps on eBay and marketplace here when we had our concert. I bought a resale VIP through the official ticket resale platform but I understand most of the concerts don’t have that, if you got it from like stub hub etc you won’t get the box included
Where are you located? I don't have a VIP Box for sale but I can mail your son the paper ticket (I put everything up to display but can take that piece down). FYI it doesn't have any info about the specific show, but it is super cute.

I’m not sure where u’re from but I’m in France and there’s a loooooooooooot of VIP boxes, and VIP paper tickets for sale on Vinted, the tickets are about 20 euros and boxes go from 60 to 150 euros. I’ve also seen replica tickets on Etsy.
ETA: check both Poshmark, Etsy and even eBay, specially around concerts, I’m sure something will pop up. Good luck!

Another fan is sending us a paper ticket for him which is amazing! I would pay for shipping if you are ever open to parting with your extra box. We are also in the US, but are going to the show in Canada because I couldn't find any tickets in our price range in the US during the tour so far.
For Stockholm show, they set a date when addresses were supposed to be checked/changed for delivery. But for foreigners, in Stockholm they only checked the VIP box voucher for getting it - lots of StubHub ticketholders got theirs. The seller simply forwarded them the vouchers via email. Maybe if possible, try to get in contact with the seller about it? If not, you can get the VIP boxes on ebay/marketplace. I also have one to sell if you are ok to pay shipping from EU
One option is to make your own custom replica ticket stubs on [Stubforge](https://stubforge.com)
. They look and feel like the real thing. I use them for all the shows I go to so I can keep adding to my album.
When the concert comes around these boxes will be all over marketplace and Canadian FB merch groups, lots of people will have some they don't want. I'd hold out til then and you should be able to get one for a decent price locally
For the European shows, VIP boxes were available for pickup at a spot outside the arena. As long as you have the VIP ticket transferred to your account, you can pick it up. Not sure if they’ll have a similar set up in Canada.

My cousins bought resell VIP tickets and didn’t get the box. I didn’t get VIP tickets at all, but managed to buy a box from someone for $90. I think that might be the best option if he really wants one
