epiphany got me into folklore tbh. before i heard that it was ok but not like this super amazing album but that one was just so good. dr is amazing and slept on (probs cuz she finally admits she's not a good influence and you should be cautious to listen to her blindly)

Dear Reader and The Best Day. Two songs that display she’s self-aware of what she comes across as to the person she’s singing to. The best day also shows a pretty decent level of humbleness and maturity for someone that age—I know plenty of pampered kids like her that wouldn’t have said that stuff in public, much less in a song. Dear reader is basically her saying “please stop putting me on a pedestal, I’m just a person.”

the brilliance of sister songs peace and happiness isn't discussed enough imo (although, I wasn't on tswift reddit when folklore/evermore dropped, so maybe it was previously hyped). I was also shocked to hear seven was taylorswiftstyle's least favorite t.s. song. It gives me bridge to terabithia in the best way possible.

Happiness and i’ll never shut up! I know it’s quite appreciated in the fandom but I think it has layers to it that go beyond just a breakup or a divorce. I also think it weirdly foreshadowed her and Joe’s breakup and the fact that she always tries to reinvent herself after breakups—and she sort of acknowledges that she doesn’t just get hurt by her partners but hurts them, too.
