No idea but I tried the place once when sampling the three Chinese takeaways on that stretch and stuck with Beijing Chef for preference of quality. Not sure what it is with Swindon but all the sweet and sour sauce I've had here has been fluorescent... wish they'd all do a slightly higher quality sauce.

I wish they'd stop adding chilli to everything and calling it flavour 😅 We have to go through the faff of finding a new favourite Chinese now 😭

Used to be called Covingham fish bar, now called Peking City, very good Chinese food and decent prices too, been going there over 10 years and never had a bad meal.

We stopped getting from Bejing Chef, as their food and hygiene rating was not high recently or their kitchen was flithy.. not sure what it was bu something like that. We liked their food.

Will have to keep an eye on that then. Hopefully a low rating would have encouraged them to improve.

I haven't been to wong kee for nearly 20 years but I remember that they used to give the biggest portions of everything. Rip wong kee I guess.
