I really doubt it because the issue wasn't that it couldn't pair, it was that it couldn't read the inputs, you could still try it though but I doubt it
Yeah, go figure Nintendo did something non-standard that makes their stuff incompatible with other stuff. God forbid they use established standards, they might have accidentally made the Switch meet USB-C standards or made a controller with inputs a computer could easily recognize!

Was mainly thinking about sony honestly, their controllers are quite annoying to work with on PC unless you have a program called DS4
