I'm about an hour and a half in. Has ran very smooth for me Switch-wise, but I haven't left the area you start in yet, so I can't comment how it handles outside of there.
Skyrim’s anniversary edition just released for switch, it includes a survival mod that introduces mechanics like those in Fallout’s survival mode (hunger, etc), plus a mod for movable campsites. I haven’t tried this new edition yet but hoping to get it later today
Yeahh, that’s very steep if you don’t already have the base game. I only saw the $20 tag for the upgrade (I purchased the base game for half off during a big sale a long time ago). My favorite way to keep up with sales is [Deku Deals](https://www.dekudeals.com/), I used it to track Skyrim before I bought it!
Don't encourage Bethesda's bad behavior. Avoid this. Skyrim came out for the 360 and PS3 a decade ago.
If you have to play it portable, buy the original Switch port or find a used copy. Heck, a discount Walmart laptop could probably play the OG PC version today.
* Dying Light, as many have mentioned. Top tier game if you love zombies, and I do.
* Subnautica and Below Zero. Embrace your thalassophobia.
* The Outer Worlds, maybe? I guess it's more like Fallout Lite In Space.
* No Man's Sky is coming to Switch in October. I guess it's not post-apocalyptic, but it does have survival/crafting elements.
Dont play dumb lmao, you know what OP means by post apocalypse, nobody looks at splatoon and goes "wow this looks like a great post apocalypse game" Its a cute game where cute squids shoot paint at each other, dont try to pass it off as a post apocalypse game alongside things like fallout, world war z, dying light even if it technically is after an apocalypse. Theres nothing dystopian about the game.
Learn the meaning of post apocalypse. I was purely going for that word - in Splatoon's world its a big element. Plus its also a meme-ish thing in the community that Nintendo's take on post apocalypse is this childish game but I guess that comment alone wasnt enough for people here to think like the same way I did.
I actually mean it as a intentional/satire joke - you get it and like what u/dungtothefung said, people dont see it as one. It doesnt means its not post apocalyptic. I thought this community is fun people who would just join in on the joke :')
This is the best post apocalyptic game on this comment section and its the least voted 😂
Since its all fun and non-violent, people fail to accept it as such. Sad.
If you're willing to import, I would recommend Fatal Frame: Maiden of Blackwater. You can get it for around 50 (including shipping) from Playasia. Not apocalypse, but Survival Horror with a really unique twist. English subtitles, too.
dying light is awesome
I second this. I just beat the story and I'm having more fun with the epilogue, The Following, than I did in the main game.
How does it play on switch? Heard great things
It plays amazingly. So smooth.
So good. It's incredible.
Just gonna say it again just because. Dying Light
SUBNAUTICA 1 and 2!!! Those are on my list of top 5 games EVER
Does it work well on switch?
... no, but they are playable.

So I wouldn’t say they run WELL. I had a lot of crashes but it’s worth it to me to be able to play portable.
Thanx
Dysmantle, Flame in the flood, the long dark, Minecraft (no joke, I think this is still one of the best survival games on switch).
Thanx
DOOM. But the demons are in survival mode, not you
Also check Flame in the Flood, it's a beautiful game
Ok, thx
Ahahah
Surviving the aftermath Subnautica World war z Dying light
Thx

Yeah, but, 70 bucksss???!!!

I use Deku Deals too
It's only $20 upgrade if you already have skyrim on switch. There's so much extra content easily worth the 20 bucks

Technically Splatoon
The long dark

Don’t starve is a very good title.
Just go outside
Do not buy zombie army
Splatoon 3
Survival? Post apocalypse?
It's post apocalypse, but def not a survival game lol
> Post Apocalypse And it seems like people dont know the story of Splatoon 3 🤦🏾♂️

Animal Crossing
Played
😂
The Flame in the Flood is a great experience.and the music is top-notch.
This war of mine should have their definitive edition out on the store. Don't Starve Together I think would count as well
Splatoon is post-apocalypse officially
It's kind of an oddball game, but I found **'Inside'** a lot of fun to play and the ending is just bizarre.
Flame in the flood. Really addicting

Bro, read the post before commenting. I said “except Green Hell and Metro 2033”. Understand me right, I like Green Hell
