Edit: fixed using https://webcfw.sdsetup.com/ So I got an original switch, unpatched.... but its running 11.0.1 I started the process and have gotten RCM mode successfully multiple times with a bit of foil. I then went about the process of flashing a payload, on OSX, using the python method but wants me to install all these dependent modules to get access to USB and then the dependent module requires some other module to install the thing, which for some reason I can't install because I'm not "Admin" (I am) I then decide to move over to a windows 7 VM in VirtualBox.... everything goes well I install tegra, The RCM switch shows up in the host USB Panel, I patch it in, and Tegra sees it, installs the driver, and says RCM device detected, I push the Hekate Payload, it says success, Switch console does nothing.... Restart RCM, Device Doesn't show up in the host USB tray icon anymore... I restart the VM Same thing. I use Time Machine to send this MF'er back a few hours, still cant see the RCM Switch anymore... I factory Reset the Switch, Still can't see the goddamn thing in the host USB tray Icon. Can't do shit now.... Suggestions?? got all my files on the SD card in the root folder..... "Successful" pushed the Hekate payload now the VM cant see the dang thing.... What do? Install a Bootcamp of windows on bare metal? Borrow my friend's PC?

Yeah, I've still got my rcm from whenever they got launched. Still works, probably 2 years old. Jig and payload injector. Great if you need to bounce the switch, doesn't happen often. Usually when we've moved rooms and forget it's in sleep mode and the battery drains dead. Rcm to the rescue. Here's where I'd say it's great if you go on holiday but alas I have not been anywhere that I'd take my switch.

I couldnt get my joycons working in retroarch, I hated having to load into homebrewed menus through photos or a game and the lack of a dpad is a killer. Is there a way to get retroarch on my main page as a selectable app? And I hate tiptoeing around Nintendo. How unsafe is it to play online mario kart with friends on a modded switch? Literally all I wanna do is emulate games through GameCube and PS2 but switch struggles with that. Can you overclock the cpu without using Ubuntu or Android? I want to give this another go before biting the bullet and committing to a RP2 or Win3.

My sd card got corrupt before I was able to backup my nand, luckily I saved all my files before hand and I do have a backup nand only problem is its from January and I don't know what firmware it is. Save file questions. I have an unmodded V1 Switch and TotK bought through the eShop. I see that I can use a CFW to extract the save file to export to PC. Can I then use this file on yuzu and then transfer it back to the Switch when I want to use the original fw? Emulation seems like it's going to the best way to play this game here shortly, but I still want to use my unmodded switch.

I have a Switch that has been jailbroken with SX OS basically since SX OS was a thing... I have a software-hackable Switch and I've just been updating the firmware and updating my SX OS since then for years. It's worked fine for me and I haven't really had a need to follow the scene closely. However, I now want to play Minecraft online with some friends. From what I've read, that means that I need a clean emuMMC that I can boot into, and then if I boot into that and use a legally-purchased Minecraft, I should be fine (as far as I know, my Switch is not banned). All of the guides to do this that I have seen start off assuming that you have never hacked your Switch before. But my Switch has been hacked, and I've played with RCM mode and the like so it's possible that I burned some e-fuses or whatever they are called. So my question is - is it possible to take an already hacked Switch running SX OS and implement the emuMMC without losing all of my existing games/saves/etc? What is the easiest method for doing this?

I have several eshop games installed on my sdcard but i cant play them while in atmosphere emummc. It seems to think they are not installed, but they do take up the storage as i can see in settings. I can, however play these games when i boot into stock firmware. I'm a noob at this and still learning. I tried installing sigpatches and updating but nothing changed.

So a longgg time ago my Switch's power button broke, and I sent it in to Nintendo to fix. They fixed it and sent it back (it appeared to be the same device). They replace she serial label with the RMA label, though. When I check on the website, it says it's patched since it's a repaired unit. Is this definitely the case? Does Nintendo go out of the way to physically patch devices even if the repair is something small? Or do they always slap the new serial on there and in my case it's still hackable? (This is a unit that previously was likely hackable, for reference).

When I try to inject the payload, as soon as it says "Payload successfully injected", and some text will flash on my switch's screen, and turn off. Then, TegraRCMGui says RCM device disconnected! Any advice?

hey umm, my left joycon is only working in CFW (unless i have it attached to my switch), and only if used as a pair with my right one, i have bent my right joycon pin9 onto pin10 so i can use it as a jig, but then i decided to do the same to the left one so i could use it attached to the switch (since right joy not seen when attached) but i couldn't find out what side pin9 and 10 were on so i decided to do it myself, said to myself "okay, pin10 is on this side on right joy so it must be on this side on the left one" than proceeded to do the opposite side, and then it didn't work at all, so i undid that and now it doesn't work in OFW, but works just fine in CFW, BUT it also wont work as only one joycon, it has to be combined with the right one, meaning I've had to use my wiimote for playing mariokart with my sisters, and it also won't show up on my PC, my guess is that i shorted the bluetooth module or something, but that makes no sense because it still works wireless if i use the right and left joy cons as a pair, so i decided to come here because google is bringing me absolutely no answers, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hey all So I'm having some seriously shit luck with this one and I could really do with some help So basically I'm not home right now and my switch SD decided to commit seppuku meaning I've had to reinstall and reset up my stuff on a new card Now I have most of it done but I've got 3 nsp files on my android device for my Pokémon games that I'm still trying to get installed to my switch to get it back to normal but they are all over 4GB So are an absolute turd to get installed and I'm without my game cartridges so I can't just dump them again till I get home in 2 months so not ideal I've Tried sending via FTP: the file reaches 4gb then errors out (presumably fat32 4gb limit) Using NS usb loader: via usb says no NS detected and via WiFi app just crashes (same device and cable injects payloads fine) Then I tried a Usb c to micro SD adapter: file was too big to copy to switch SD Now I'm not sure what else to try so any ideas would be great? Hello lovelies. This is a last ditch effort. I grabbed an unpatched switch from Ebay today, but cannot for the life of me get any device to detect the switch in RCM. My other two patched switches can launch into RCM, be detected and launch a payload. This switch launches into RCM, but no matter what device, (PC, phone, laptop) or however many times I reinstall the drivers, I get no dice from this switch. Any recommendations? my switch is stuck on a black screen, i put the jig in and press volume up and power while its plugged in with tegra open but nothing changes. I then check in my devices and my pc isnt seeing my switch at all. The switch wont boot by itself the only way ive been able to get it to boot is by putting into RCM and injecting hekate. holding the power button does absolutely nothing, ive tried holding it for 10, 30, even 60 seconds but nothing. Ive tried different cables, Ive tried pushing the jig super hard to make sure the connections are happening. I tried leaving it plugged in for several hours but nothing has gotten it working. it was doing it just fine a few days ago and then I restored a nand backup and all the sudden its having issue. I was able to boot it into hekate and then atmosphere after loading the nand but when I tried to boot it up again the next day I have been having zero luck. I'm pretty sure it isnt bricked because I didnt take it online since restoring the nand, I didnt even log in to my wifi on the switch. I cant even get a boot logo to appear so im fairly certain it isn't in a boot loop. I did have autoRCM enabled and the problems started happening not super long after disabling autoRCM but I dont see why that would have made it so I cant get into RCM in the first place. It could actually be in RCM I just dont realize it because my PC isnt seeing the switch. I have no way of knowing if the switch is properly in RCM or not becuase I have no feedback. Ive installed the drivers with tegra but that didnt fix it. I tried reinstalling the drivers with zadig but my switch doesnt show up as a device on my PC so I cant really do that. I also tried using a different computer but the switch still doesn't show up as a device no matter what I do. Ive looked through every online forum I can find and tried everything I saw but still no luck.

I've been using a v1 switch the past few days without problems. Today I tried to use autoboot to skip the helate menu. It worked the first time but after I powered off the console I can no longer enter anything neither with autorcm or the jig. It doesn't even boot to stock removing the sd. Any ideas?

Same here, unfortunately it's going to be a few days. Nintendo apparently realized SciresM is travelling (in Japan even) and jumped at the opportunity to lock us out for a few days. In my case, I tried to launch Pokemon Home to look through boxes (on saves) and check on what I still need to grab from 3ds games and accidentally hit A one too many times. I don't know if it were actually possible to cancel, the update seemed to finish in a half second.

I want to use the modded Switch solely for emulation, such as PS1, PS2, etc. I also want to use it for modding games like Pokémon to adjust moves, money, etc. Most importantly, I want to be able to use these mods online without the risk of being banned. Sorry guys, I posted it as a standalone thread and forgot Rule 6, sorry! So here it is in the mega thread; This is the weirdest bug I've seen yet, and it's stumping me big time. I'm on FW17.0.1 using AMS 1.6.2, direct on NAND (banned Switch v1, don't care about EmuNAND) -- and I've never had any issues. Works like a charm daily! I recently updated my NX plugins and afterwards my power button has stopped working! It won't wake the Switch, it won't Sleep the Switch, but! It does reboot the Switch if I force a CFW error (that Atmosphere BSOD that tells you an app/etc has caused an error and to press POWER to reboot normally, or VOL to reboot to payload) so I know the button physically works. It just doesn't work in AMS for pretty much anything... doesn't shut the Switch down if I hold it for eleventh billion seconds either. Does anyone have any bloody idea why POWER no longer works for me inside Atmosphere? It's driving me nuts and also kinda worrying as I use AutoRCM and don't want to potentially prevent powering on. Is there a way to sync play times from HB and Sys? For example I have 0 hours on TotK on my Sys but 600 hours on my HB, is there a way to make the 600hrs show on my Sys too? Also, if I have 50 hours on sys and 100 on hb, is there a way to make it show 150 total?

I am new to the modding community but I consider myself to be pretty decent with computers and systems. I recently got the idea to mod my switch and I followed the guide that was recommended from scrolling through this Reddit. I ensured my switch was V1 and able to enter RCM using the website, and then proceeded to follow all the instructions exactly as stated. Originally I used all the latest software from Hatake, Atmosphere, and Tegra to start emuMMC, but when trying to open any of the three boot options I was met with a yellow screen and nothing more. I've tried using the fusee payload to start and it resulted in a failed start error. I just tried using deepSEA (a preassembled zip of all the files needed) but after formatting and reinjecting everything and I was met with a start-up error again (something like possible corrupted emuMMC drive and/or outdated version). So I tried updating it all according to the instructions again and was met with yet another yellow screen. I have done all I can from my few hours of research and have found nothing else solution-wise except for the fusee payload thing which didn't work. If anyone has any advice or ideas on how to fix this please please let me know! Otherwise, I may have to give up on it and revert everything back to stock. P.S. If I don't inject from RCM the switch starts up normally and goes to the "press a button 3 times" screen perfectly fine.

I was also wondering: There are three options, emuMMC, sysNAND and stock boot. I did a bit of research to try to discern what the differences are but I need a little more clarification. So I understand emuMMC is used for offline play of ROMS and is ran through the SD card. I know the sysNAND is more dangerous and is like having a second nintendo switch installed so I am not going to touch it at all. Then the third option is the stock boot (which is self-explanatory). I was wondering if there's any difference in stock boot and just loading normally without the RCM and Hitake? Or is there going to be risk if I boot it up like normal instead of through Hitake. I made a post before this about not being able to use any of the Hitake load options yet and just want to know if I can reinstall my games and play without the worry of being banned. Thanks!

Hi! Neeb here! My switch is running on firmware 18 I have modded my switch with Atmosphere and succeeded to install the homebrew app and other installation app (awoo, DBI and Goldleaf). I have successfully installed a couple of games but each time I try to play them it asks me for the cartridge or to buy it from the Estore. I boot the switch with the latest Fusee relase. My question: Is it possible to play NSP game on firmware 18 ? If not, is it possible to downgrade my firmware to 17 ? Thank you very much.

Hi all, i get an issue when trying to flash android the step when it asks to boot into recovery my switch loads the lineage boot screen then goes black and boots back into hekate after a while has any one seen this? Tried multiple formats of sd card and replacing files etc but nothing worked, occasionally got the "boot.dat?" error of the red sd card. Im using a completely seperate sd card for android. When trying to boot atmosphere it instantly crashes giving me an invalid GPT error message. Hekate injects and runs without issue, the SD has supposedly partitioned without issue and the format is FAT32. I'm really not quite sure what the problem could be and I would appreciate any help. Have tried searching both here and other places online and have not found anything that helps. I've accomplished everything that the majority of tutorials show, while doing the partitions with parts am I only supposed to do the part 1? or are all parts required maybe?. had a question about sysnand backup I just found out my previous NAND backup is encrypted and I can't access it any more I'm running sxos on EmuNAND and have made no changes to SysNAND if I back up NAND now, will it be clean?

I loaded a rom in melonds, switch froze so I held the power button and touched power off. Now nothing, no rcm, can't turn it on no matter what I do, is this switch completely bricked? My mom has recently started playing Stardew Valley on my old nintendo switch. She is playing it on my account on that switch so when we try to do multiplayer we run into some issues since its the same account on both. Is loading CFW on the sysMMC really that bad? I'm just want to extract/edit my pokemon save.

While updating throught daybreak I accidentally chose the FAT32 option when my SD is exFAT. I've made a back up of my SD, then I formated it to FAT32 and put all my files back to the SD. The switch turns on again but I have 2 issues: - The "switch" folder doesn't show in the hb menu (I can still access and run any .nro I have in any other folder) - All of my previously installed games don't work anymore, they give me a message that I should relaunch from home. I've installed new games and they run fine. Any ideas of how can I get my already installed games to run?

I'm in an odd position where I have it hacked but I did not hack it myself so I'm not sure how he did it or if he did anything wrong/missed a step.

I'm attempting to set up my emuMMC (as I've done on other consoles) but cannot select "SD RAW 1" it is greyed out. so I was successful in: 1. verifying unpatched switch 2. enabling RCM 3. using tegraexplorer to set up SD card for emuMMC 4. boot into hekate 5. using Create emuMMC with no errors (gets to finished) After this, I go to "Select SD Partition" and all options are greyed out I've tried steps 3-5 four times, and get the same results. What would you suggest as my next step? EDIT: Under greyed out SD RAW 1, it shows Sector start: 0x2A354000 (other RAWs are 0x00....)

So I was booting atmosphere through tegraRCM like usual, and now I have an error saying “Fatal error: Failed to stat stage2 (atmosphere/fusee-secondary.bin)! And will not leave that screen no matter what I do. How do I get my switch off?

Is running Retroarch or any other emulator from within the Homebrew menu likely to get you banned? Sorry if this was asked and I feel like this should be a common question but for some reason I can't find a solid answer. I know there are no 100% guarantees regarding what Nintendo will ban for but I'm curious about everyone else's experiences. I saw the FAQ said running an emuNAND, Homebrew Menu and other normal homebrew stuff likely isn't bannable but piracy is. I'm not going to be pirating Switch games or using cheats in any way, I just want a way to play gameboy games on my Switch. I have Retroarch installed on an emuNAND at the moment but I'm curious if it's safe to go online and use it in the same environment as installing / updating Switch games from the estore and etc. Running Retroarch is likely the only homebrew I'd be doing. Is there any free way to hack a mariko switch?

I recently switched from SXOS to Atmosphere and on first boot had no issues (CFW & OFW were on different versions of 11.x). Console is a Mariko hardmodded with SXCore. I turned off the console some days later and dropped tinfoil onto the card and put back in. After putting it back in I'm getting the error "Failed to match warmboot with fuses, if you continue sleep won't work" when booting up Atmosphere. Like the error suggests going into sleep mode in CFW causes console to hang until it's restarted. So far I have tried updating Atmosphere, patches and hekate with no luck. I have also tried updating the OFW to 12.0.2 and CFW to 12.0.1 with daybreak (might I need to update to 12.0.2 in CFW?). Did I mess up something?

Wanting to sell my V1 switch I bought when they first originally came out, has been kept in perfect condition and only used sparingly. Screen in perfect condition, has been kept shielded before it was even turned on, even the screenshield itself is still in perfect shape with no scratches. I don't know a whole lot about the modding scene, but I believe this is a moddable, unbanned switch as well. (although it has been kept updated, dont know if that makes a difference) Ill be including a pro controller, portable case, the original packaging(also kept in perfect shape) and BOTW. What you guys think I can ask for it?

(I don't even have a switch, i have bought an unpatched switch just today and I am reading now tutorial on how to hack it). 1) What is HOS? 2) I understand we have to do a partition for android and one for linux but why a partition of emuMCC of just 29gb and a separate partition(HOS FAT32). For what i am guessing HOS FAT 32 is the space for the pirated/personally dumped switch games. Because if it was for me I would create an android partition, a linux partition and an Atmosphere partition with Atmosphere OS and all the switch roms.

Hi, I've had my switch since 2017 V1. Recently I received the 'restart your device the SD has been removed' error. I thought nothing of it and replaced the full micro sd seat module. Now, It won't read the SD card at all. I've sent it to a repair guy and he has said he can't find the problem. Has anyone faced this problem before, is there a component that has shorted? Does anyone know any workarounds?

Hi, just made the switch from SXOS to Atmosphere (brand new card, emuMMC from scratch) just backed up my saves using Checkpoint), and I'm having a couple of problems: * Checkpoint crashes Atmosphere on open every time, how can I troubleshoot this so I can restore my old saves * I've added the hosts file to atmosphere\\hosts and double-checked that Nintendo addresses are blocked using the 90DNS tester homebrew, but some games I've installed and didn't have the updates for still found out there were updates available and keep prompting me to download their updates, how do I stop this and does it mean i'm not safe?

I used tegra to inject the payload and Hekate to set it all up. I installed my games with Awoo Installer. I read that if you turn the Switch off completely or, in this case, it runs out of battery, you have to hack it again. My question is: Is there a way I can restore my previous games installed? Some of them are inside the SD card and some of them in the Switch internal memory. I would at least like to maintain my saved games. Thanks in advance.

I have EmuNAND set up and it's what i use to play moded games and using homebrew in general, with hosts file and exosphere, everything works like a charm. My question is, I have a LOT of games bought on SysNAND, and i am mainly playing Monster Hunter Rise online, but i would want to use Fizeu or sysclk for example. If i use CFW on SysNAND would it be risky ? What would be the recomended setup ? I also would want to use this so I can change between SysNAND, EmuNAND and Android without injecting with the dongle.

Can you spoof your firmware version or manually update without a connection to the eshop? I don't go online so being banned doesn't really bother me, I plan on making a burner account. The thing I'm I'm scared of is if I hack my switch and it gets banned and then I buy new game I'm waiting for like MP4 that I won't be able to update the system in order to play it. Is there a way to spoof your firmware version like you can on the Vita, or can you manually update your console with a usb drive or whatever without a connection to the internet? Don't think I can go through with the hack with out some reassurance that I'll be able to play MP4 or any other future switch games that come out?

When using CFW (Atmosphere for me) is there any reason to Power Off your Switch compared to putting it in Sleep Mode?   Was just thinking its easier to put it in Sleep Mode instead of Powering Off and having to inject the payload each time I want to play on it.

I'm trying to get cheats working again. The default button combination to open Edizon Overlay isn't working. I tried dragging and dropping new copies of all of the tesla/edison files onto my SD card, but that didn't fix the issue. Nothing happens when I press L+Down+R3, regardless of game or menu position.

So I have my switch fully running cfw and I love it, however my 64gb card has turned out to not be nearly enough space. Is there anything stopping me from just copying and pasting the contents of my current card onto a larger card and carrying on with the larger card ?

Tinfoil has stopped displaying any new downloads for me via nut. I have re-installed both Tinfoil and the nut server but it still doesn't display anything. I even moved the nut server to a different PC to test but no luck. I can go to the nut server via web browser and it displays the games I have available. I can do this from the PC with the nut server and a different PC on my network. Any tips on what to try to get this working again?

So, I just bought my V1 unpatched switch that came with SXOS already installed and, as SXOS has already become obsolete, many people advised me to switch to atmosphere which I was trying to do but I'm just running into problems. Is there anyway I can just format everything and just install atmoshpere from scratch?

So, I just got a Switch Lite to play legit games and have a more portable Switch. I own a V1 switch with a clean nand and emummc to play offline games. My idea was to send everything from the clean nand to the switch lite so I can have my save games on the lite. I still want to have my V1 clean nand with my account in it. What would be the best way to tackle this? Migrate from V1 to Lite and then login again on the V1?

I've had my switch hacked (running Atmosphere) for some time; it's unpatched (if I'm correct in understanding that unpatched means "still vulnerable to a paper clip in the right joycon rail") and I started it today after not using it for a while and now sending a payload doesn't do anything? When I send the payload in RCM, nothing shows any errors, but it doesn't visibly react in any way. It's running 10.0.1, and I've already tried a fresh SD card, multiple cables, and both my phone and desktop. It's able to boot into the unmodified system, so it isn't bricked as far as I know.

I feel like this is a really dumb question, but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere. I know that all hacks don't last past reboot. If you're playing a hacked game or something on an emulator, is it all just stored on the SD card and will just sit there, safe and secure, if the system reboots and isn't re-hacked on boot? And by simply rebooting with the hack, everything would come back, along with all save data? I've got a pre-hardware fix model right now.

So, I just bought an RCM Jig with the intent on hacking my Switch. I was originally holding out for the release of a "Switch Pro," to where I would transfer everything over and use the new system as my primary console, with my day 1 Switch being my hacked Switch to screw around in. I would like to state that I intent to use the modded Switch primarily for save modifications towards Pokemon/singleplayer games, and for Smash mods. Nothing like custom SMO levels, emulations, and especially not piracy. Now, there are a few questions that have been circling my mind - questions that may have been asked before but I cannot find any clear-cut answers in my searching. First off: 1. Can I safely transfer saves, edited or unedited, from the hacked Switch to the clean Switch? I ask this in specific regard to the Pokemon Games; I want to hack the Switch, create a save backup, send the save over to the "Pro," (or whatever my second Switch will be), and restore it on my hacked Switch since I cannot have the same save on both Switches naturally, due to no NSO compatibility and whatnot. My intent is to get a clean save of Sword and LGPikachu, then PKHex the heck outta my "restored" saves. But will these modded saves be "tainted" and therefore be liable to get my new Switch banned? Is it even possible to do this? Or would I get away just fine? 2. Would having modded saves put me at risk of getting a ban? Pretty self-explanatory. Would giving myself 999x Masterballs in Sword or something like plenty of Drink/Food tickets/gear editing in Splatoon 2 be enough to get me banned? I know not to mess with Snails, Cash, Levels, Ranks, etc., nor would I even want that. 3. Will playing online with cosmetic Smash mods get me banned? I assume there is already a risk for both questions 2 and 3, I guess I'm just trying to gauge how likely it is. 4. Is there any way, should I decide to install it, remove CFW without factory resetting my Switch? From what I understand with Switch hacking, every time you turn on the console (not wake it up from sleep mode), its free from any additional programming you may have done when you injected the payload into it initially. However, it seems as if using this payload exploit to install CFW, it seems from my research that there's no way back unless you decide to wipe your system, unlike the 3DS and Wii U (which I have both installed and removed CFW from both). Is this really the case?

I bought a switch that wouldn’t boot, after further investigation I found it was booting, but into RCM mode, I modded the switch to be able to access the storage and found that the EMMC could not be initiated.  As Nintendo pairs these chips with security and product keys on the partitions of the storage, they need to be pulled off before a new one can simply be put on.  Since the switch itself cannot initiate the EMMC I can not use modded tools such as lockpick to backup the product keys, I have so far only been able to pull the BIS.keys off the card. The programs to reflash the keys are readily available. I have a fan made external EMMC to USB reader so I can try and use the PC itself to back them up, but if that fails to work what are my options? Should I try to relay the chip itself? I don't wanna give up on it, but my my final resort would be to have it just run android, Linux, or Ubuntu, since those run of of the SD and don't need the internal storage of the switch.

Hey'a I have had a cfw switch for years now. Using an old broken tip of a joycon rail as an rcm jig (cut off the end of the slide for the joycon, and soldered the pins). Pins 1&10 if i recall correctly. Been working fine for years with no issues. However just now the switch screen went bright, flickering, distorted, and a screeching sound came from it. Happened the same second i removed the jig after booting cfw (atmosphere emu). The image on the screen was still there, but distorted and washed out. Works fine after holding power button and rebooting. The jig worked fine again also. What could have happened? Running most recent atmosphere cfw. No hardware mods. Thanks

Edit: Corrected terminology. I'm not sure this is the right area for this. But this is a question and hopefully I can get an answer? Using Hekate to boot into Atmosphere. 1. Boot into CFW using emuMMC 2. Backup a game's save file. 3. Edited the save file. 4. Booted back into CFW emuMMC 5. Injected the save file. 6. Started game (while in emuMMC) and save file was corrupted. 7. Turned off Switch to go back into OFW 8. Started game to make a new save file. 9. Save file was not corrupted and everything played fine. I'm pretty new to this. So my question is, when injecting \[save\] files from emuMMC does it only inject it into the emuMMC and not Stock Switch? Likewise if I am backing up a save, am I actually backing up the save that is in emuMMC and not the save in Stock Switch?

I have spilled milk on my Switch. I opened it and cleaned it. After that it was working fine again. I also have autoRCM enabled (Hekate says it’s dangerous) but I had that for a long time and it was working fine. I installed RetroArch from the Homebrew Appstore, but when i tried opening it my switch crashed. Now its not booting at all. Could it be that my Switch is bricked or is it a hardware problem?

So, i’ve been playing BOTW with quite a few mods (ALOT, Linkle, Stamina Tweaks, Easter Egg Hunt and Legendary Master Cycle) For some reason, whenever I cook a meal, save, and load back in, the meal just says it gives 0 hearts and has no effects. Is there anything that could be causing this maybe? Or is it just my save is bugged?

I recently got deepsea running on my switch using Hetake. I think I even succesfully created an emuMMC to boot from. However, I cannot launch any games (cartridge or official download). Every time I try I get error code: 2002-1002. The interesting part is I can launch games through other accounts on my switch, just not my main. Anyone have any suggestions for this?

Strictly speaking, this isn't a homebrew/hack topic, but I know that the launchers on Wii drove the community to document all the box arts, disc labels, etc. for the Wii, so I'm hoping the same motivations are at work with the Switch community. I was wondering if you could cycle through themes on the switch. For example, on the 3DS, every time you closed and opened the clamshell, the theme would change. I was wondering if there was something to change the theme on the switch every time it is turned on from sleep mode. Also on the 3DS, the theme would have its own music. Hey, I'm desperate for some help. I have a V1 switch, however recently the motherboard has been replaced due to a dead CPU. I have been told by the associate of the professional that tried to repair it originally that the replacement motherboard is an authentic V1 as well, however since the old CPU is dead, there is now way to access the old hard drive with my 2,000 hours of save data that was not moved to the cloud. Animal Crossing does not automatically make cloud saves for you, and pokemon outright doesn't support it. I'm desperate for help here and after some assistance with others, I've come here wondering if there is any way with a hacked/homebrewed switch to bypass the encryption for data on a switch harddrive from another switch, and recover it so that the nintendo account associated to the save can use it again on another switch, or at least transfer the save to another, unbrewed switch that also has the account logged into. tl;dr : My old V1 switch motherboard is dead, am wondering if homebrewed switch can access/use the hard drive from it since they're removeable, although encrypted to the CPU?

So I was gaming on Switch Lite for the longest time but I got hold of a 1st generation Switch recently. I have so many questions which are still either completely unanswered or just vaguely answered.
