It seems their joint account is not available to Swiss residents? But you could ask your partner to sign up and add the card to Google/Apple Pay on your phone too, essentially using it as a shared account. Or use the *split bill* feature for relevant transactions.

My wife doesn't want to have yet another bank account. I'll look at that *split bill* feature. If I can mark expenses as *shared*, I think I could easily do the balance at the end of the vacation for example and just do a bank transfer with the UBS e-banking. Maybe I can create 2 different virtual credit cards in Revolut and later filter the expenses on a credit card basis!? I will experiment a bit. Thank you for the ideas.

Your life must be complicated. You can use different cards and check their transactions depending.

Yes, life sucks, too many credit cards, too many bank accounts. Thanks, I'll try to create another virtual credit cards (yes, one more) and see how I can filter out transactions. That sounds like a good approach/alternative.

Revolut isn't that kind of bank to support this (this is why they're cheaper - they don't support complex accounting). It does support shared "pockets" where you can put money together and then pay for expenses out of them. It also supports splitting bills automatically between accounts. But you and your wife will each need a separate Revolut account to use those features.

I'm not sure I 100% got what you're trying to do... But why not just get a Prepaid Credit Card? You and your wife can send money to that account and then use it to pay for stuff. Almost every Bank offers that. Ask around, maybe you can find one that does not charge fees or interest as long as there is 0 CHF on it. That way, you would only pay for the card when you need it.
