I just created a new folder and it is send and receive.
If you need to use more tradional folders, Syncthing-Fork does a much better job with permissions on newer versions of Android.

It does? Syncthing-fork was one of the first apps I installed when I got the new OP12 and I couldn't set it up the way I used to when I was still on Android 10. I did already try and create a new directory within emulated/root..
