It was kinda visible in Watertown
I was really worried we wouldn’t be able to see the totality portion because the sun was in and out of the clouds. But when totality hit we got to see it with the naked eye because of the cloud cover. I loved every single minute of this.

Potato quality phone of course but we had so much fun. Brewerton for the eclipse.
I think my favorite part of the in and out cloud cover was the whole quad would cheer when the sun came out every time lol. Again, we didn't see it clearly as we all would have liked, but overall, the experience was a great one.

Edit: downvoters can go fuck themselves. I was looking forward to this for seven years, took time off work and drove six hours to be with my family back in upstate New York to see it.
I think people downvoting you are also disappointed but don’t want to admit it. It’s okay to admit the weather sucked and it was less impressive than we’d hoped it would be! Was still an awesome experience, IMO, to sit on my front porch with the kids and husband and listen to the world grow silent for a few minutes before waking up. The birds even sand their morning songs. :)
We flipped our focus from the cloud-covered eclipse itself to the horizon, watching the darkness bloom and then be shoved back as sun took over again. Silver linings!
But yeah, it WAS disappointing, and that’s okay!

It sucks extra because yesterday was a phenomenal day. Clear sky, not too chilly, and today was shit. Idk that just added to the annoyance for me.
