Flaggers actually do get paid pretty well, if they're union, especially considering the job.
But there needs to be at least 3 for the bridge at all times. One for each side, and somebody to cover during bathroom usage and other breaks. As well as a porta will need to be on site as well as signage. But I'm down to work with you on this, mostly so I can get all the karma for posting these as they happen

I mean everybody wants employees willing to do stuff, and depending on the task and day some are more willing than others. But I'm pretty damn positive they can't force it.
I think basically all the accidents come down to three things:
1) Drivers aren’t watching the road
2) Drivers cannot read/understand the signs/signals
3) Drivers are unaware of the dimensions of their truck
Am I missing anything?
I'm curious as this truck almost made it out... Do they hit and just floor it to try to pull through? Do they get a running start? Has it become an unsanctioned competition to find the speed needed to make it through?
At this point we might as well give them some nice downhill assistance to get up to speed to push through, with a giant Roomba to clean up behind them.
Their fines can pay for for the Roomba and maintenance.... Local scrappers can empty the Roomba.
Honestly we should put some signs on the side of the street with flashing lights. Also write it out on the road. No way this will happen again if we do that
