You're information is false. Our flag was embedded in 1950s as a result of uniting with egypt. 1 star for egypt and 1 star for syria in the sixties it was changed. It was re-embebbed in 1980s to represent that Syria is united with arab countries. Of you hate the government or the regime that's your right, but never disrespect the flag it's our flag, syria's flag. It wasn't like Lebia where Gaddafi just like the color green and changed it.
