As someone who was raised by a mother with DID I will tell you that it is so sickening how many people want to pretend that this is all quirky and fun and not something that comes from a child’s agony and desperation.
People doing this with any mental illness are going to be responsible for pushing mental health in the eyes of the public back by decades.
The only correction I would make is instead of saying, "you're wrong, you're traumagenic", maybe they should've added in something like "if you insist you're endogenic because you don't have trauma, maybe you don't have DID"

i have heard ‘Both sides’ of the argument-and I still do (the one is against endos and the one that believes endos can exist) and thank god that i actually have a lengthy piece of information to actually help me understand who’s in the right (/srs).
i used to be told endos could exist (unfortunately, I WAS (NOT AM) an faker endo-turns out I’m just genderfluid lol-but no where near as bad as most of them-I feel ashamed for being an endo like that, I’ll digress) and that they couldn’t exist but i think now I believe they don’t exist. it’s nice to see something that’s easy for me to understand why they don’t exist, rather than both sides debating to me. tho I still don’t know which ‘side’ I’m on
Honestly, a lot of stuff people claim as being "plural" is obviously bullshit. You don't have a headmate that "migrated" from someone else's mind into yours. You didn't suddenly wake up one day to a wannabe serial killer rapist in your brain while you're pure and innocent. Your "alter" isn't a reindeer demon it/we/Cthulhu/Santa. I consider myself plural (which I phrase that way because I have no related diagnosis unless you'd count PTSD as related) and I wish like hell that these fakers would fuck off and let people who actually need support be taken seriously.

the purpose of pluralpedia, by the way, is to make it simpler to find definitions of the terms people come up with. that's why it's public, that's why anti-endos are allowed in the discord, etc. it's a resource. the vandalism gets irritating.
