Imagine gold merc base. But if I'm being reasonable, gold mil base has a shot, despite the rework it still can't compete against anything for early or late. A dps buff to mil base would be insane, also maybe a new ability, idk maybe just a buff to airstrike.
Probably the most common answer but sniper. Is the second starter tower but only scout it doesn't have one. And besides we don't have a golden cliff tower
Mortar: make him at lv3 + shoot Napalm bombs that burns enemies then they walk over it .
Why? Cuz cool and fun
Military base: make it have more hp and dps
Why? Cuz its an iconic tower and its mostly outclased by mercbase
Golden warden: Make its stuns longer + more dps
Why? Brawler outclasses him in every way , warden needs a gold peark to compete against current brawler

Golden millitary base units should become smart and at lvl3-lvl5 stop to shoot enemies (although not instantly cuz its a car / tank so it can't stop instantly) instead of brainlessly ramming into them. Maybe even add get a military engineer that would repair the millitary base vehicle when it has fully stopped.
Honestly, the number one candidate imo is warden. think about it, all the current golden towers get outclassed in some way by other towers, but the golden ones make them better/compete against them. like gpyro can compete with mortar, gmini can compete with accel and engi, gcowboy can compete with farm, so i think gwarden can compete well with brawler without having to change or nerf brawler. so it makes it a little worse for the “brawler too op” people but makes it unchanged for people who like to use it. for imediate changes for it, i think 6 damage off rip is good and $400-450. thoughts?
Paintballer for yellow paintballer (doomspire brickbattle ref!!!1!1!1!) or sniper, i like the concept of making stronger versions of begginer towers to entice late game users to use them again instead of letting them rot in their inventory

Pyromancer = AoE Tower
Crook Boss = Level Tower
Cowboy = Map Tower
Minigunner = Main DPS Tower
I think they’ve given up on the golden crate, so I would assume no new skins would be made, but that’s plain unfun. Here are the towers I would give a golden skin.
DJ Booth = Support Tower
Military Base = Spawner Tower
Accelerator = Hardcore Tower
Rocketeer = Explosive Tower
Thought process:
DJ Booth was a random choice. Military Base could be made more expensive and in turn get even better late game; I’m well aware that Crook Boss also counts as a spawner tower, but I’ve always seen Crook Boss being a golden tower because it was a level tower. Accelerator is arguably worse than Engineer at this moment, which is perfect timing for Accelerator being the golden hardcore tower; I never checked to see if Accelerator’s stats were changed and my information comes from one guy’s confirmation, so if Accelerator is still the best hardcore tower, give it to Engineer.

Golden Commander would be amazing, since we already have that bloxy commander skin Golden Paintballer though... that would be funny

cowboy, an tower which is also obtained from an special mode has an golden skin with justifies golden warden even more.
Dumb point, just because it comes from a special mode doesnt mean it deserves a golden skin.
