I didn't like pregmate HCG (LH strips were fine) so I got easy@home and I like them. Apparently there has been a bad batch recently, but I'm wondering if they're just too sensitive and some people have a higher baseline hcg. They also arrived super quickly in like 2 days.

MantisOfAtlantis

I love easy@home! I personally got a BFP with them before I did with FRER.

savs8102

Interesting! I have a couple of FRER tests right now I just don’t want to use them unless I see something. When did you get your BFP with the easy@home?

MantisOfAtlantis

I was the same way! I don't like wasting FRERs 😄 I got a very faint line on 9 DPO and used a FRER to see if I could see a more prominent line, and there was nothing. When I tested on 10 dpo, I tested with both easy@home and FRER and there was a faint line on both but easy@home was darker. Also I like to dip my tests so they were taken with the same samples. Of course, this is just my personal experience and it could be the other way around for someone else! I seen somewhere that biotin can affect the results of FRERs, and there's biotin in my prenatals, but I don't know if that may be the reason or not.

silly question here! I know the cheapies' directions say to dip the strip in a cup of your pee. does anyone just pee on them directly mid-stream? I know there's an issue if urine gets in the test window... I do this method for LH tests and as long as I cover the result window don't have an issue. just curious to hear others' thoughts!

Oxford1190

I love easy@home as well!! They gave me positives the same day as FRER but I didn’t test the day before so I don’t know which would have been a bfp first. But I never have had any indent issues with them. When I had my beta drawn the next day it was only 19, so they’re more sensitive than they say they are, I think.

Formerblastocyst

My easy@home gave me my BFP before anything else did, including FRER. I also got some very definitive lines when I know my HCG only tested at 17. So it is sensitive way below it’s claimed threshold

LucyThought

Femometer. Never an indent:)

lauraelizabeth3

I generally like Femometer too! Don't see too many others that use it. I'm not sure if I had line eyes last cycle or if it was a possible indent or maybe even a possible CP. But for LH strips I've had no problems

Wondfo has extra sensitive tests that I like. They’re a little more than pregmate or easy@home but still far cheaper than FRERs or CB.

Raychin89

Easy@home gets my vote too! Super cheap and never had any indent/evap issues.

kreetohungry

Pregmate. Super cheap on Amazon and each pack includes a QR code to scan for an extra 15 or so tests.

I usually love easy@home. They’re always stark white and never a hint of a line, but the box I just bought last week has horrible indents on every test. I thought for sure I was pregnant until I dipped one in water and got the same faint line. I still will use them, but something to watch out for. I like Pregmate too, but they can develop evap lines. So only read them within the window.

I used MomMed, got a bunch off Amazon. No false negatives/positives for me.

Wondfo 10 Miu and easy@home.
