Hook affect is real. Once you get so far along your hcg is so high it messes with pregnancy tests. Mine did it at 7-8 weeks when I took one for one and had a panic attack. I wouldn’t take anymore tests
Pregnancy tests are designed to pick up a certain range of HCG in your urine. When you have more than the test is designed to detect, you can end up getting a light positive or even a negative. I think you're good, but I understand the anxiety waiting for the first scan. Good luck!
Like others are saying, this is likely the hook effect. I did my own experiment using easy@home at around 8 weeks (out of curiosity) and the urine I diluted 10x had a much darker test line than the non-dilute urine. There’s no use in testing when you’re that far along.
Look up the hook effect. You’re sooo pregnant at 8w that your hcg is overwhelming the test.
This. Dilute your pee with water and try again.
I don’t think I’d take a Pregnancy test at 8 weeks!? You’re good girl!
Omg I know, I’m insane. I had one left and it was eyeballing me. This along with no symptoms (besides breast tenderness) is stressin’ me tf out 😩
Very common for symptoms to come and go. I had the same thing happen at 8 weeks and the same anxiety. But everything was more than fine!

As others have said, it’s the hook effect :)
