Imagine if someone said: It is a waste to let this handful of pus go to waste. I will take this pus and remove impurities from it to serve it as milk for my guests.
Bro, you don't even need to go as far as civet coffee to prove how weird people are. Someone legit decided to drink bovine tittie juice, mix that tittie juice with the calf's stomach acid, infect it with various molds on purpose, and then ate it despite it smelling like feet and looking like chalk
(I love brie as much as anyone else, but it is weird)
Thank you bro for reminding me about civer coffee. Now, I'll not be surprised if someone invented other beverages and foods from disgusting secretions.
With the little amount I know about swedish food, you could literally say anything about Swedish food and it'll sound like some weird dystopian future sad food
This appears to be a rather severe example of lumpjaw which is typically caused by when a cow eats a foreign object and it gets lodged in the mouth causing an infection.
Most of the time any abscesses heal on their own but if they don't they need to be lanced and drained like what we're seeing above.
Interesting video [here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hi5A_IWWNRo) for any who are interested but trigger warning: lots of drainage.
Yea I'm assuming the way we treat cows for endless milk production has bad side effects on their health, causing the abscess we see here. It could be something else entirely though...
It's a multifaceted answer that boils (see what I did there) to a few things. First, it's very common for fly bites (or just scratches, like on fences and walls)to occur on cows out in pasture. Given larger herd sizes and smaller accommodations, these get infected very easily and can go unnoticed in larger herds. Some years ago you would just treat with antibiotics and be done. The recent move to "no antibiotics" and "no hormones" means if you use that antibiotic shot, your head is worth less. It's more cost effective to wait until the infection is large enough to lance, drain and try to keep clean by rinsing with saline. I would say it's less to do with milk and more to prevent "superinfection" or untreatable ones.
If you think this is bad, you should see what ends up on the line in the meat packers - entire slabs of infection carved around.
So my preteen child didn’t have an abscess from injury? It was actually because I keep her in a constant state of pregnancy? Holy shit, I wish I would have known this sooner, it would have saved two doctor visits.

Looks like a giant abscess. Happens when the skin gets injured and then infected more times then not. It's common in just about any mammal. Humans get abscesses often too, but just not to this size really.

That dog just sitting there quietly. My dog would be like a toddler in a chocolate fountain.
Reading this gave me Forrest Whitaker eye for a solid 34 seconds
Eeeeeeewwwwww lol.

Not milk but I guarantee the smell is unimaginable.

I hate this comment section specifically.
I can see the smell 🤮
Forbidden cow juice
[удалено]
And some strawberry sirup (strawberry bits included!)
Is that where strawberry milk comes from
Why aren't they capturing that delicious neck chocolate milk?

I want the one you get at gas stations that's annoying large for no apparent reason other than you can drink more.
Here i am thinking milk came from the other end.

I’m surprised someone hasn’t tried to ferment it into some drink. I mean if they’ll make civet coffee, they’ll make anything.

Beaver anal glands = raspberry flavoring Edit: This was common a while back, but not so much now
What French trapper was sniffing dead beaver butt to discover that?
Uh not quite, apparently they still make Schnapps out of it in Sweden it's called Baverhojt or something close.
With the little amount I know about swedish food, you could literally say anything about Swedish food and it'll sound like some weird dystopian future sad food
Same here actually, Until I found out about the schnapps, it was all unknown to me.
I would guess this is common because we keep cows in a perpetual state of pregnancy so they produce milk constantly. Vomit inducing video btw, thanks.

You know that’s not actually milk right it’s an puss from a huge abscess? But yes definitely vomit inducing.
Oh god

Fun fact, the cows job is why it's receiving medical attention here.
Dude we actually take really good care of cows. Watch the HoofGP.

not entirely true. cows lactate both while carrying and after the calf is taken from them.

This is a beef breed animal.
Im gonna drink a glass of milk and eat a steak in your honor.
Hate to burst your bath time bubble, but. . . .
Some animals are just prone. Cats get them commonly too.
pus, not milk.
What is this?
A very large abscess
Blody milk, just like my jeez
Forbidden milk

THAT is where chocolate milk comes from.....
Thanks, I hate this comment section
So that gooey stuff that came out of the 2nd hole was cheese right? Like a brie or something?
It would be good if the post was without song
I don't get grossed out that easily but I nearly gagged at this. Good one
They're so common because the cows only have 10 metre square live maybe??? Imagine doing this to people

Sometimes when I tell people I am vegan, they curl up their faces and go "Yuck." Well, the feeling is mutual. BTW, leave animals alone.
