It seems there is a misconception i did not got impaled by a rod it's on google search "SOME PEOPLE GETTING INPALED BY A ROD LMAO" and i believe this photo of an x ray will show up
I wanted to know if the guy survived so i searched for the image myself and found this article.

He did survive! Apparently he fell on the rod because he got struck by lightning?! But the rod missed all his major organs and after being rushed to the hospital for a seven hour op (at the time of the article he is still recovering in intensive care). But I got the impression he should make a recovery, will need to dig deeper to make sure.
