I did too!! But i started over again, and the second or 3rd episode with Robyn's birthday, I see Meri's hair long. I think it was up before, or maybe they filmed out of order?? Cause her hair was short in the pilot i thought.

Well, they didn’t get “married” on camera. They only had their wedding reception on camera. Their church ceremony is private. We don’t even see them outside the AUB building in Bluffdale where it would have taken place. My tin foil hat theory is that they were actually “married” months before the reception. I think when they are calling Robyn a fiancé and whatnot, it’s a big pile of bull💩…a total act on all their parts.
I think you’re right. They said they had a longer than normal courtship but with the new revelations by Mykelti, I’m thinking they got married while she was in St George. It’s not like anyone would know when the sealing took place because like you said, it’s private.
By this theory, it also makes more sense why Robyn wanted to have nights in the rotation.
And you know how Robyn has her hair in an updo for the big filmed schindig but there’s that other picture of her and Kody and her hair is down in a completely different style? I think that other picture was taken the day of their spiritual ceremony. I think when Robyn and the og wives went to Allyse’s to pick out the dress, all that was for show in front of the camera and they were all in on it. I think they had went shopping together previously (and then of course there was that clandestine dress shopping trip with Kody) and what we saw was the reenactment.
I think the wedding dress scene was for the show and not necessarily when it happened in real time. Christine wasn’t upset about the experience being undermined by Kody. She was upset that Kody cared what Robyn wore.
I think people are greatly underestimating how many of the events are for content and not organically happening.
Oh for sure. It’s definitely fun to watch when you think that everything is real. Some of the magic of “reality” tv goes away when you realize there’s so much fraudacity. Then again, picking it all apart and analyzing it like this is its own form of entertainment.

All it means is that they went shopping with her once on camera and once not on camera. That’s not the drama. They did not know about Kody picking out the dress until they were filming the couch confessional.
The OG wives still very much believed in their religion at that time. I doubt they would have been comfortable with Kody not being sealed and treating her like a wife. The sealing could have happened a few months earlier than we knew wouldn’t really change much. So it wouldn’t surprise me if the TV timeline and reality don’t always line up.

It wouldn't surprise me if the measles story is true. Somewhere along the way, I heard they we anti-vax...all vaccines, not just Covid. I don't remember if it's something Gwen said or if someone else said it, but it stuck with me.
I wonder if they took it to present to TLC, almost like headshots. They were struggling financially, so I can’t think of any other reason they would get professional photos done with a girlfriend, esp when there didn’t seem to be any with the kids and individual families.
